To be fair, are they photos or just screen grabs? They all look oddly low-res. Or is it just me?
  • 3 0
@BiNARYBiKE: I think it is just frames from the video. Not what we want, but it's something.
  • 5 0
If they don't start showing this content in those magic eye 3d pictures I'm going to kick off.

@BiNARYBiKE: Proper bike checks photos coming this week. Stay tuned!

 Video + Pix = Progress......woo hoo
  • 4 0
@BiNARYBiKE: Maybe PB had enough of our complaints and wrote a bot script to screenshot all the different bikes and perform speech to text to shut us all up.

@christinachappetta: I’m just messin’. Not super stressed. Smile

@TannerValhouli: No, looks different, the air port isn't at the same place
  • 10 3
@loiic33: Lets be real, we know its going to be close to the same thing.
  • 8 2
Just put Marzocchi stickers over the leftover DPX2s that didn't get sold to OEM.
  • 4 2
@chillrider199: Like all the new suspension out there and people still get excited about it
  • 4 0
@eteyber: Check during the video and pause it, definitely different chassis bro
  • 3 1
@loiic33: All they have to do is repurpose dpx2 as Marzocchi stuff and say its all new and people will be all over it.
  • 1 0
@loiic33: My point being that it looks different but it will do the same thing as the shock before it. Same adjustments, same way of compressing, same same same same.

Yeti is trying way too hard with that paint job

If I was sponsoring Goome the frame decal would be big enough to see from space.
  • 3 0
Wide Open. We saw it from Cyber Space

A yeti with SR suntour suspension is a sighting rare as a real life yeti
  • 5 3
Wonder how many standard Suntour parts are inside that thing? I imagine the inside of all these forks would be like opening an alien spaceship for us unsponsored home mechanics.
  • 7 5
I see yetis quite often. On the wall, mostly with broken chainstays.
  • 4 0
@me2menow: Ah, yeah makes sense I suppose it's not World Cup DH. Just standard but maybe with all the volume spacers, tokens and psi's.

Back in the heyday of hucking buddy at Cove let me steal Wade Simmons' RM-7 for a ride around the neighborhood. I was the same weight running the same fork and shock on my personal bike but his suspension feel was totally foreign. When I queried mechanic said his internal setup was all proprietary.

@ViolaVesperlin: most of the time, it isn't

Dont think she was running them at Darkfest either new sponsor unless I wasnt paying attention

This would be way easier to enjoy if it was a VR headset experience, rather than pHoToS & ViDeOs

Christina and Robin have killer biceps. I'm sorry, but its true! These girls are badass!
  • 16 0
Workout program consisting of wrestling a burly freeride bike on heavy terrain all day every day.
  • 11 4
If you pay even closer attention you’ll notice they’re also hucking big cliffs and other stuff even more badass than killer biceps
  • 5 4
@emptybe-er: there's always gotta be one.

I think what you're seeing is shoulder definition. neither ladies have very defined bicep heads nor are their arms very wide but they do have some round af shoulders which basically backdrops biceps and triceps simultaneously
  • 3 3
@Caligula1620: Hey at least we’re making progress, this one included a totally killer apology haha
  • 3 5
@emptybe-er: which is a bigger sign of progress; people miring each others physiques online regardless of gender, or someone tongue and cheek chiding said people for miring physical attributes to avoid being sexist.
your attempts at being progressive almost make you regressive by reestablishing divides. let people 'mire bodies, it's natural.

It's quite skillful how they've almost all managed to clash their forks with their bikes colour schemes. The Trek and Yeti get a pass but the rest.
  • 5 1
This is the 2022 Park Edition Trek, Its shorter, has no high pivot, has older geometry, smaller wheels, and was made in 2018... But its not the old one, Its Park Edition

Harriet - what colour should I paint My session?

Every session ever - red again?
  • 5 0
 Thats because its old *cough

Too bad I can't read the Robin Goome story on Beta - first item that looked interesting. Oh well, there's still @robin_riding_hood

Heavens to Murgatroyd, the swingarm on the Devinci looks too futuristic for George Jetson even.
  • 3 0
Commencal looks the best, devinci the worst

I just can't stand the seat stay on the wilson

Soon ebikes will stand up on their own like that

Love that pic of the Dissent (not Descent). Great looking bike.

Does anyone know if this event requires tickets, or can I just pull up to a parking lot and hike out to it?
  • 1 0
Ask around in the bars of La Verkin UT.
  • 2 1
for all they know your just a curious hiker. go for it
  • 1 0
How are these bikes standing up? I spent more time trying to find the prop stick than actually looking at the bikes.
  • 1 0
Hold the back wheel, let go, snap pic, grab wheel. It's photographer assistant's main activity at trade shows.

is it just me or does that yeti's front tire have some of the largest cornering knobs ive ever seen...

What event is this? I want to watch it.
  • 7 0
If only the title of the article said the name of the event...
  • 2 0
 Assuming /s
  • 1 2
@93EXCivic: Tbf, 'Red Bull Formation could also be the name of a team. Most likely a stunt plane team, but actually that comes quite close to freeride, no?
  • 2 5
Yeti and 29er I don’t think are classified as freeride bikes
  • 2 0
Which one is a 29er? I´ve seen only mullet setups close to this. Also what other purpose than FR and park riding you´d expect from the sb165?
  • 1 0
@bok-CZ: I thought the new Canyon Torques had 29s? Or were at least mullets.
  • 2 0

That Torque is the old model, you can tell by the linkage. Pretty strange to be riding an out of date model, maybe due to the 27’’ front and rear?
  • 1 0
@Daverobinson1: that would make the most sense. I was planning on purchasing the torque, until they changed it to 29 and mullet, and 27.5 is only available in XS. extremely peeved.
  • 1 0
@peterfoley5: the new ones, anyway watching the video I haven't seen a full 29er
