Yes!... just putting a big grin on my face. Reminds me a bit of my dear Slayer SXC 2008 which is still alive and ripping well. Old-school spirit, as long as it works!
@Franzzz: Yup, I used to have a Flow FS from 2005. Best 5" bike I have ever owned. Also, never saw another one IRL or online. It basically was a slayer with a coil shock on it. And the slayer was basically an Element with 1" more travel.
@cuban-b: Great fork! 20mm through axle. I had a black one that ended up twisted at the crowns, so it ended up on a home made snow bike. Next fork I had was the first Marz Super T (polished finish). Also an unbelievable fork for it's time.
This sh!t can't be real...The dude with the Haro sounds like he just stepped off the set of Trailer Park boys...And the guy with the Pipe Line...Leather work gloves, purple (sweat?) pants and a bad ass bum bag. 10/10
@racerfacer: Everywheria. I have a buddy who likes to wear those nitrile gloves, basketball shorts and seems to switch off between work boots and running shoes in order to avoid the pair of Five Tens I gave him!
Yoann, heal up as I need more "into the gnar". You look like you're in pain. Actually, glad you did this as it is so much fun listening to your commentary. Keep up the great work.
Was it wrong? I`d like you to hear how some people pronounce it here in France; it`s hilarous! Bontrager actually looks a bit like a french word, so they pronounce it 100% french way: Bon Trajet!!! My french speaking fellow Canadians might get it
... but it`s not worse than how the anglo-saxons in general pronounce `Champagne`: Shame Pain!!!!
@Franzzz: no idea if it’s wrong. I’ve heard at least 4 or 5 different ways of saying it, but she probably works with trek mechanics so I’m assuming she’s right.
URT (unified rear triangle). And yes, his poor ankles, your cranks/pedals get zero squish. Historically terrible design, way outdated by '99 standards, but somehow it was embraced by some people in those days.
@adespotoskyli: Totally, just a Rocky fanboy thing. I rode norco VPS in those days. Heavy AF, but at least they plowed ahead with the Horst Link and never looked back. And hey, that's what half the bikes out there run today.
gotta commend Yoann, for having an injury he is still in the news feed and making himself more versatile creating more value for himself. Good on ya Yoann!
