The front tire getting stuck in the hole in the rock garden is classic. Who hasn't been there before.
  • + 7
I was just about to write that. Best way to break or dislocate a finger with almost zero speed involved... with a bit of experience you can tell it will happen already 2-3 bumps before. Oh crap I’m going too slow now, boing boing boing bam!
  • + 6
@WAKIdesigns: For sure, the bike just slows down with each consecutive bump. You know its just a matter of time before the front wheel just doesn't come out of the next one.
  • + 4
@sino428: I guess that's what wagon wheels are for.
  • + 10
@endlessblockades: I've gotten those stuck plenty of times too.
  • + 1
And it happens in real-life-slomo, that feeling of anticipation just prolongs itself. Just get it over with!
  • + 1
@bmar: yea you have plenty of time to think about what’s about to happen.
  • + 4
That’s what my overpowered dropper post is for- I just eject myself clear and out of the situation
  • + 2
 @Ryanrobinson1984: Wendy I can fly!
  • + 52
That guy who blew through the berm... That was glorious
  • + 6
I was in math class when I saw it. I finished my test already but half the class didn't. Laughing really loud is a distraction so... yeah...
  • + 6
That one was the greatest, so much speed and then it all went horribly wrong. awesome
  • + 4
 All it needed was kurwa
  • + 1
Funniest clip this week for sure. I guess he was expecting a right turn? Or just no turn.
  • + 46
Superman at 2:18.... Oh god, I'm dying
  • + 6
 that was epic
  • + 5
He wasn't the Friday hero we wanted, he was what we deserved.
  • + 1
 That was awesome!
  • + 3
Also the camera not moving gave it a slight meet the Flintstones effect. Hil.
  • + 4
Was about to write “2:18 ftw.”
  • + 2
@jeremiahwas: taking superman in for a hard landing.....commitment
  • + 3
Im pretty sure he was being sucked up into outer space by aliens... at least that what it looks like.
  • + 2
You all got it wrong. He was riding a Pole Machine. No wonder he was that fast and horizontal.
/s
  • + 1
This is what dude was thinking at the top of the run:

"Not enough speed: check. Not enough airtime: check. Not enough skill: check. Now let's do this!!"
  • + 34
These were grade A this week. Almost every single one I thought to myself "Wow that person clearly has no idea what they are doing..." and those are the best fails.
  • + 15
One of my favorite aspects of these videos is just getting to see the diversity of locations and terrain people are out there riding.
  • + 13
love the French Canadian swear at 0:53 "tabernak" classic
  • + 5
 I can relate,
I tend to pick out the Polish swears and somehow it's funnier than normal 2:36 "Ja Pierdole."
  • + 1
It's "tabarnak" and at 0:57 but clearly tells from what part of the world it's comming! Smile
  • + 1
@lRaphl: Actually it’s tabernacle which is a reference to the church as are most French Canadian swears. Ironically they are arguably the least religious culture in North America. I definitely enjoyed growing up in Montreal some of the most fun people you’ll ever meet with no f-ucks given.
  • + 2
 Tabernac!
  • + 1
@Bigbangus: You wrote it the good way. Mais on prononce tabarnak quand même!! ????
  • + 0
@lRaphl: t'es ben sharp le gros
  • + 1
 @Bigbangus: Marci ben!
  • + 9
Is it just me or do a majority of these fails result from people trying to catch big air before even learning how to mountain bike?
It's like a baby going from crawling straight to hurdles.
  • + 3
Yes, for some reason these people seem to think hitting jumps IS mountain biking. Every week its 75% OTB from getting bucked on a jump
  • + 4
Yah I consider myself a decent jumper but I wouldn’t hit some of the jumps these people are and they look like they have no idea what they are doing.
  • + 5
Everyone has that one friend that wants to be out front but seems to always eff up and cause chaos for all the guys behind him. If you don't you might be "that" friend. I feel for the guys that had to react fast to avoid piling it up into the first rider.

The tire getting stuck in the rock garden is classic!!!! But the guy missing the bridge in the snow is glorious!!!
  • + 8
Snow-guy completely missing the ramp was a funny touch in the midst of the usual cringe-drawing fare of these videos!
  • + 5
When multiple riders hit a feature you know its the guy/girl in the back that's going to wipe.... hey, dude.... you know your in back otherwise we are all going to run you over when you wipe out first.
  • + 1
Oh yeah, there always needs to be a pecking order by skill to trains like that.
  • + 4
Those riders who you really ease off of when following them downhill
  • + 8
 ALL DAY
  • + 7
Gotta say, 2:33 really hit my funny bone...!
  • + 3
Same here - I love the "am trying to stop my bike with my right foot"... so good!
  • + 5
Love the kid in the blue helmet who is unfazed by the dirt jumper hitting the knuckle of the landing!
  • + 5
Sheared a headtube of an RM7! Whoa.
  • + 8
Just cause a bike weighs enough to have its own gravitational pull doesnt mean its all that strong!
  • - 3
@keeqan: All bikes have gravitational pull, F=G*M*m/d^2, as they all have mass.
What’s more annoying is that people confuse weight with moment of inertia.
A) Both bike and rider (including body fat) contribute to the moment of inertia, a 1-2kg increase in bike weight has a negligible contribution to the total momentum of the moving system

B) Moment of inertia has both linear and rotational components, a 1/2 - 1 1/2 increase in wheel radius has a negligible effect on the total momentum
  • + 5
2:00 Not even a flinch from the kid on the left...
  • + 2
Dude at 0:36 was lucky to just ditch in the snow. That failure to commit would've had much bigger consequences on the actual drop.
  • + 1
0:59..."Oh Tabernac!" lol Love Québécers! If you don't know the Tabernac, check it out. www.youtube.com/watch?v=fMy0SDxAxtA
  • + 2
For those who are about to fail.We salute you.......... (with the prerequisite middle finger. held aloft).
  • + 1
I like the two ends of the spectrum in terms of the filmer's reaction; either the hype man "OOOOOOOHHH," or my favorite: dead silence.
  • + 1
I‘m thankful for the „easy“ crahes where everybody laughes. The rest is so hard to watch. Broken collarbones everywhere!
  • + 3
The guy at 1:34 was actually shredding that bike
  • + 2
 More like shedding the bike.
  • + 2
Best collection i've seen in a long while!
  • + 1
How do I get an invite for Friday fails? Like who do I have to show my footage to?
  • + 1
Oh man - a few funny ones included - usually I can’t watch that kind of stuff
  • + 2
Hey, i see a familiar trail and friends! Thanx PB for posting our vid! Smile
  • + 1
 2:18, laugh ? Just a bit.
  • + 1
It's fun to watch with R.Kelly I Believe I can Fly as backing track.
  • + 1
1:35 is that a pedal strap?!
  • + 1
Hey one of those is santos here in florida
  • + 2
 "All day"
  • + 0
 Ha heard that too
  • + 1
2;01 "when you're not paid enough"...guy on the left lol
  • + 1
who do i send my crashes to
  • + 1
3:13 - Ghost ride the whip... just not into the camera please.
  • + 0
@1:40 is a classic example of a bigger wheel and more travel providing some margin for error.
  • + 1
Ja pierdole - classic from Poland haha
  • + 1
 2:16 & 2:35 were hilarious, 3:10 was just brutal...
  • + 1
That Freight Train crash looked painful at 2:55.
  • + 1
Always reminded why I love this sport on Fridays.
  • + 1
 Freight Train one @ 2:50...lol
  • + 1
 1.46 is hilarious
  • + 1
 Nosedive friday.
  • + 1
 2:00

  • + 1
 3.50 Out-of-control!!!
  • + 0
How many were from too fast on the rebound
  • + 2
Nah. All due to flexy forks and chain stays that all too long
  • + 1
 Boyoyoing!
  • + 1
I love Friday Fails! Big Grin
  • + 1
