When I grow up, I want to be a park rat until my wrists pop and I'm forced to live on morphine into my old age; I'd even fight a bear to make it happen
See kids, it is still possible to put a f**king awesome tunes into riding edits...it doesn't have to be some gay electro all the friggin' time. Right on Tippie!
Damn you beat me to the punch! For all those kids out there that was Danzig - Mother. Glen Danzig also known for being the original singer of "The Misfits". Another group you should put on you ipod oh sorry I mean itunes or iphone or whatever you kids are using nowadays...
I love both songs on this edit. The first song, not yet mentioned, is Devo "Gut Feeling". I like the version on the "Life Aquatic" movie soundtrack best.
Why should I get with it? Yeah I am 33 but I rock it old school. I have a discman, an imitation ipod, a non smart phone nokia 1209, a laptop and i'm not on facebook, twitter or whatever else is in at the moment. I'd rather spend money on my bike or traveling than keeping uptodate with the latest bs gadgetry even if it means I'm not "cool"...
Park is in amazing condition right now, and having decent beats at the bottom was a huge bonus. Kudos to whomever was playing DJ, having old school rock and metal was sooooo sick for a change.
If Brett Tippie, Kenny Smith, Rémy Métailler, Curtis Keene, Adam Billinghurst come to your bike parks opening day, you know you have an awesome place. Great job Whistler!
dreaming to get to Whistler is quite a common, then realize that can't afford to get there is quite common too ... let's just make the most we've got mate.. cheers
Don't feel too bad. Most of Whistlers trails have less than 1200 feet elevation change. Its only once you get up to Garbo that the elevation becomes more substantial
my local bike park is 20 mins away (Aston hill) but non of the trails are very long and there isn't an uplift or any of that jazz, but its better than nothing
My local park is all technical, loose and rough stuff with lots of rocks and roots and steep as hell, I would love to have something like A-Line to relax and enjoy a bit between runs.
I need one year of income to fly there, and spend at least 4-5 days.
Well, unfortunatelly that is quite a strong excuse for me...
It will remain a dream only to het there once.
I don't know when I'll be there, but I'm hoping for around 21 days, so I can't count till flights are booked =D. Think I may stop by Coastal Gravity Park on the way!
Oh you mean the guy that is wearing a Dakine kit that anyone can buy? Also the same guy that is on the trail crew and builds all of the lovely trails and features you see in this video?
take the microphone away from him, somebody please! great music, edit riding......the only reason I wouldnt fly to Whistler is that fucking weirdo with the microphone
TIPPIE FOR CHIEF
WHIP IT
Jackson is a nut
Why is there an #Enduro?
