Video: Tackling Mt. Washington the Hard Way
Now that is the kind of video I want to see more of here. Looked like the descent was just as challenging as the climb. Bravo.

Pinkbike Poll: Will Your Next Bike Have More or Less Suspension Travel?
The industry is currently trying their best to get us all to buy eBikes, so I'm actively ignoring them. Hopefully, they return soon to the usual "new standard", "more or less gears" and "fatter / thinner" type hype. I'm really hoping rigid singlespeeds come back into style. That was just about the only time the price of a new bicycle actually went down (if only a little).

I can't imagine how much work it took to build all of that. Wow.. just wow.

The Future Bike - Sunday Comics with Taj Mihelich
@kingfish666: Oh, of course! Why didn't I get that? Given how long my cats will chase the infernal red dot back and forth across my living room, I'd say that bike has at least a 12 mile range before kitty needs a nap.

No, no. You see... the dog is chasing the cat. The dog barks, the cat runs, which causes the dog to give chase, and perpetual motion is attained!* * Technically, the energy is supplied by pet food, so no laws of physics were harmed.

If you look closely, both pets are within a "hamster ball" type enclosure, and the frame is attached to that. Mounting the tires must be very difficult though without any sort of bead whatsoever. The bigger question though is how to inflate them without giving the pets "the bends".

First Ride: 2020 Liv Pique 29 - A World Cup Ready XC Bike
If I bought my wife that 12K bike, and I didn't immediately produce proof of a winning lottery ticket, she'd return it and then murder me – perhaps not in that order. She's an avid rider who loves the Liv Lust she bought for $2,600 a few years ago. Is this 12K bike really worth more than **4X** the price of that solid and capable SLX-level alloy full-suspension ride?

Someone keeps buying these bikes at those prices, or they would be forced to rethink their price points. I guess there are riders who don't have mortgages, their kids' education to pay for, or retirement to think about. Must be nice, I guess. I do get around just fine on a 6 year old 3K SLX-level bike, and I felt guilty taking even that out of the household budget. I know inflation is a factor, but the cost of high-end bikes must be giving the rising cost of college some competition on the line chart.
