CeramicSpeed Announces $669 OSPW X Upgrade for SRAM Transmission Derailleurs
Over the past 35 years of mountain biking, I have never questioned the performance/reliability of my XT/XTR derailleurs... Any performance gains can be realized by just taking a pee or dump before your ride... LOLz

PENDING 26" FB Wheels Hope Fastno and Stout XC Rear

$200 CAD
Up for grabs a set of 26" FB wheels with Specialized Ground Control 26 x 4.6. Rim width 93mm. Front hub Hope Fatsno 150mm Thru Axle, Rear 11spd Stout XC 190mm QR No idea what the rim is but it may be Sun. Both have FattyStripper latex rim strips to help with tubless sealing. However, it's been a while and one has a very slow leak, so probably need some new sealant and a cleaning out. Check out my other listings as I'm selling a BXT Carbon Frame that these go with. Will consider a combo deal. Pickup in Burlington.

Are Shimano & SRAM Developing Brakes For Headset Cable Routing?
Why oh why?? Another mechanic's POV: Unnecessary addition of friction (gear lines) with tight bend points. May not be evident with a new setup but give it time and there will be problems. This is amplified in today's tighter tolerance 12spd systems. If it ain't broke, don't fix it!

Fox DPX Bearing Extraction Tool - 3D Printed

$25 CAD
If you are like me, it's just not going to work paying $130 USD+ for a tool to remove bearings for servicing once a year. This set of tools is based on the Fox BRT-006 tool and intended for removal / installation of the bearing races installed at the end of the rear shock. This setup is typical of many Rocky Mountain bikes, but may also work for other shocks, however I've only tested the FOX DPX2 mated to a Rocky Mountain frame. You get 1 Extraction Tool and a pair of the Bearing Presses. Shipping to US and Canada (pm me with address for quote) Link: https://www.etsy.com/ca/listing/1193598179/rear-shock-bearing-extraction-press-tool Compatibility Notice: In some cases, bearing races have a different design and this tool may not work. See provided picture. Dimensions: Bearing Press fits over bearing race with 22mm OD. If you need a different size, please send a message and I'll try to accommodate. Check out this video for an overview of the tool usage: https://youtu.be/Fz7cyfFu4E0 These are 3D printed with Tough PLA at 100% infill. They are strong, but are not intended for shop or repetitive use. That said, I have tested these over 4 removal/installation cycles and they worked fine with minor wear. You should expect some deformation of the key contact areas over usage/time. These are tough enough to do the job as well as soft enough that they will break/deform rather than damaging the bearings.
