EWS Qualifier in Misgav Israel was so awesome!
Such a well organized competition , Thanks to EWS Mega-Star : Noga Korem , The legendary trails builder : Avi Tamir , and of course I must mention : Arik Feldman !

For me , It was so fun to be part of this competition as A racer of the Yeti Racing Team IL with the YETI SB150 Smile
I'm so glad that I managed to win the 3rd place in the 19-40 Enduro Category!
All of this couldn't have happened without the support of my mother and my family.
So , before I start to talk about how the competition went for me , I just want to say big Thanks to my mother and my family!
Big Thanks to my sponsors for all the support : Yeti Cycles IL , X-ON Sports and Bike Shred Tees!
Massive thanks to the event organizers : Noga Korem , Avi Tamir & Arik Feldman Big Grin

My first run of the competition was in Yaad forest , the trail of this stage called : "Be'orot" and it is a 1.9 km stage length which has nice descent of -185 m. It was the first stage for me in race-day!
The man that was in charge of the start-up called me out for my first run on stage "Be'orot" , 3.....2.....1..... And I started my stage run! But ; I forgot to put the goggles on my full-face helmet!!! Frown
I don't remember when it happen to me for years... (to forgot to put goggles) and it just happen on my first stage for the competition , oh no.. Frown

I said to my self in the same moment that "this is the current situation , I can't do anything to deal with that , and I must continue to ride! (with the goggles hanging on my neck) , sounds funny ha ?
well... , I thought it looks so awkward and I was so frustrated because of it. It made me not be focus and as a result of it I made some mistakes , I've got hit by a tree in my shoulder and it caused me to lose my line choice in important line into a dusty berm , but I still managed to continue my run with good pace. After I finished the first stage run I was a little frustrated but I wanted it to make me more in focus for the next Ran! and also make sure that I'm perfectly prepared for the next stage in every aspect.

My second stage run was on the "Lazy G" trail in Yaad forest too! A couple of seconds before I started my stage run , one of my best friends @AsafGurfinkel came all of a sudden and said good luck to me and encouraged me!
It helped me a lot to get myself not to be stressed and it ignited the good vibes inside of me and I was absolutely ready to start this stage run on the "Lazy G" trail. Cool
This stage run went to me exactly according to plan!

I was so happy after I finished the second stage because I was so fast on this stage & I've been able to be so precise on every line I've chosen on this track on training day.

I continued to my 3rd stage for the race-day : the "Twist & Shout" stage in Misgav forest.
My goal to this stage while riding it on race-day was to be very accurate in the lines I chose on the training day , more than pushing myself too much in high speed all over this stage (in order to avoid many mistakes). It was a brand new trail which was built especially for this competition! The ground was extremely loose all over this trail! this trail had very slippery conditions for riding both on training day & race-day!

The 3rd stage went good for me but it was not my best run...(According to STRAVA : I was faster by 5 seconds in the run on this trails in training day).

I continued to my last stage for the race-day : the "Final Flow" stage in Misgav forest.
It was a brand new trail which was built especially for this competition too... but , this stage was way shorter than the previous stage and I remembered my lines for this stage very well. This time I decided to push myself as fast as I can! At the end of the final stage I was very happy with the effort on this stage.

I finished all the stages for my category. All I had to do is to check the results!
The results showed I was in the third place in the 19-40 Enduro Category!
I was so excited, all the training I've done over the last few months has totally paid off!
