Even though the summer weather has been temperamental in its appearance, our summer is in full swing as the days grow longer and the trails become busier. Check out part one and two below to catch up on our travels:
Read Part 1 Here.
Read Part 2 here.July started off with a bang and plenty of fireworks as we celebrated our country's independence in
Issaquah, WA shredding the local biking hot spot, Duthie Hill. What a great community supported skills' park hosting a network of trails for a rider of any age, skill, or background to have a great time riding there bike.
Creeping closer to the Canadian border, we stopped in the fantastic town of
Bellingham, WA and thanks to Eric Brown, (local master trail builder) we got to know the local trails pretty well, while having a lot of fun in the process.
The mid weeks of July found us amongst the crowds and chaos of Crankworx at
Whistler, B.C. Despite some wet weather, we still managed to have good times riding with friends and enjoying the week's competitions and festivities.
After leaving the masses at Whistler we head back down to the outdoor recreation capitol of Canada,
Squamish, B.C. As luck would have, we had the pleasure of bumping into the
SheGNARnigans Crew and became fast friends which led to some adventurous and entertaining days of riding and filming.
August greeted us with mostly sunshine and warmth as we made our way east to the glittering hues of the hills and valleys in
Kamloops, B.C. One of our most memorable experiences was when a monsterous thunder and lightning storm raged on around us, drenching everything in mere minutes, giving us one of the most epic rides down Rio Escondido in Kamloops.
Days pass quickly as they become filled with riding the local trails and checking out the city sponsored Bike Ranch with the help of
Mostly Mental Shuttles. Side trips lead us spiraling outward towards the local mountain ranges to spend time shredding the gnar at the
Sun Peaks Mountain Resort, B.C., abundant in the technical trail variety. Harper Mountain, B.C. turned out to be a surprising treat with an abundance of genuinely fun trails and a pristine lake to cool off in at the bottom. All in all, Kamloops was a stellar place to spend time biking in. From the hills decorated with staple cheese wedge jumps to a city mountain bike park to everything in between, Kamloops is bountiful in riding options. But we must say goodbye yet again to another rad biking haven and proceed onto
Vernon, B.C. to check out Silver Star Bike Park.

Thanks to our sponsors for some great product and to all of our new friends who have helped us out along the way, ride on.
About that girl riding: it just shows me that there's no need to pin it every time, you can also have a lot of fun just flowing down some singletrails, and that's what's riding for me; having a good time on the trail... and by the way: there are other girls that are way faster than a lot of us guys are, no matter how fast we think we are: there's always someone who's quicker, has more style, rips harder...
