Rediscovered a little dial on the fork that I forgot about three years ago. Surprisingly, using the compression damping actually makes quite a big difference. Until now I just put the fork in the middle compression setting via the three position dial and forgot about the rest...and I fitted shorter cranks, which is nice as well.

Found a problem. The dropper does not fit. There's a step inside the ST, so that the post does not go in far enough. Will get a shim for this and one for my girlfriends bike, so I can swap the dropper posts over. A 30.9mm post goes in all the way. This is max insertion on the 31.6 post.
