The CDC Difference
A non-profit division under Evergreen Mountain Bike Alliance, the CDC partners with local trail advocacy groups to host each race and donate 100% of profits back to the trails. Over the last 2 years the CDC has donated $30,000 to local trail groups in support of their efforts to build and maintain the trails we love to ride and race. The CDC aims to donate $20,000 in 2015.

Cascadia Dirt Cup 2015 Schedule Release

New for 2015
-The Cascadia National Enduro and Marathon XC Championships. Cascadia is spectacular enough to be a nation on its own, that’s why the CDC is hosting a “national” Championship. Come show your Northwest pride this June to claim your place among the best riders in the land. No licenses or residency requirements. Category winners will receive a Cascadia National Champion jersey.

-CDC Advisory Committee. The CDC has formed an advisory committee comprised of riders from the series. From a racer’s perspective, the committee will help guide race organizers and shape the future of the series.

-A new Veteran Pro (40+) category, which the CDC will make a $500 donation to a trail organization of the series winners choice.

-We are also revising the point system and the self seeding/upgrade guidlines.

-CDC sponsored work parties. Racing on trails can be damaging; especially to the ones that have not been originally built with mountain biking in mind. The CDC is committed to leaving our venues in better shape than before we raced. Racers who attend CDC work parties can earn steep discounts on gear and future CDC events.

Cascadia Dirt Cup 2015 Schedule Release

2015 Schedule

May 10th – North Shore Enduro – North Vancouver, BC
The Cascadia Dirt Cup will be joining forces with the BC Enduro Series by opening the 2015 race season with a trip to the iconic North Shore. Only 2.5 hours from Seattle, you can expect to be tested with fierce competition and world-class trails. This event will be a shared competition with racers taking home points for both the CDC and BCE series. If you were looking for motivation to train this winter, this is it.

June 27th and 28th - Cascadia National Enduro Championships - Dry Hill, WA
Picturesque Port Angeles will be the backdrop for the inaugural Cascadia National Enduro Championships. This will be a two-day race featuring new stages in the already extraordinary Dry Hill riding area. A National Champion Jersey will be awarded to the winners of each category, plus bragging rights for a year. The definitive racers-favorite, the weekend at Dry Hill is a guaranteed weekend to remember. Featuring some of the steepest, fastest and most technical trails of the series.

July 11th - Cascadia National Marathon XC Championships - Mission Ridge, WA
The Cascadia Dirt Cup has partnered with the Evergreen Mountain Bike Alliance’s Central Chapter to produce this spectacular National-level Marathon XC race. Commencing from Mission Ridge Ski resort, the course will have riders plunging into Devils Gulch Trail and returning via Mission Ridge Trail for two laps and culminating in an exciting and spectator-friendly mountain summit finish at Mission ridge Ski Resort. Anticipate approximately 60 miles of blissful riding in this first ever CDC XC event.

July 25th – To Be Announced - WA
The CDC heads to a new venue for the 3rd round of the series. We are keeping this one close to the chest, as this will be the first ever event at this venue. We will announce as soon as we are done with the permitting process with the land manager. Don’t worry, it will be a full day on the bike with a minimum 5 stages!

August 30 - Capitol Forest Classic Enduro - Olympia, WA
The Cascadia Dirt Cup will be teaming up with the Friends Of Capitol Forest to expand their iconic Super-D race into a full-on enduro. Come charge the XC race on Saturday then don your ceremonial half-shell and goggles for the enduro on Sunday. Do both and you will be in the running for the NW All Mountain Championships! Without a doubt, the Capitol Forest Classic is one of the best grassroots events in Cascadia. Come for the racing, stay for the party. It’s legendary.

Sept 19th - Tiger Mountain Enduro - Issaquah, WA
Le Tigre. The racing will be all-out at the Cascadia Dirt Cup’s return to Tiger Mountain. The season finale will see some of the series’ best purpose-built MTB trails, including the newest one taking shape as you read this. Competitors will be battling it out to claim their final spot in the series ranking. With some of the longest race stages of the series, you’ll feel the thrill of victory in your legs for days.

I'm super excited for another year of the CDC. Seems like this series just keeps growing. Donating $20,000 to trail groups is no joke. Thanks for making it happen Trey!

The enduro nationals will count for the series points whereas, the xc race is a stand alone event.

Is the Mission Ridge course description backwards? Up Devil's Gulch and down Mission Ridge trail seems to make more sense. MR ascent is ugly...

Can't wait to see the details for this event. Let me know how I can volunteer and rally others to do the same.

The course is likely to get tweaked a bit but the vision is to make it ugly (but enjoyable).

Thanks for the offer to volunteer; look for some announcements as we get closer to race day.

Looking forward to another great year and the "Mystery venue". Heck, I may even bust out the ol'xc bike for the non-stage race at Devils Gulch. (Just for fun, cause we all know the xc event would never count towards the "E" series overall points.)

The trail-building at Tiger Mountain has been great these past couple of months. Lucky enough to have Tiger only minutes away!

Just let me know when you want to do the CDC work parties, I'm all for it. Plus I think there is still some issues left over from last seasons 410 race that should be taken care of!

The Mission Ridge XC is gonna be nuts! That's a massive course.

Why is the XC race part of the lineup? I understand it does not count toward points but just trying to understand why its in there. Is there a connection to the Enduro series? It looks like if I buy a series pass its included. Does that include an XC bike for me to race - lol. Ok just kidding. Really stoked to see North Shore AND Tiger for the final. Well done there!
