August 21st brought the Cascadia Dirt Cup to the North Mountain trails outside of Darrington, WA. This is a newer trail system with shuttling in mind and steep, PNW trails at its heart. The Race Cascadia crew decided to use everything Darrington has to offer with an 18 mile 4800' of vert day for sport through the pro ranks, with a shorter day for the Enduro Light category. As always the riders were ecstatic with the opportunity of a big day on the bike, legit trails, and some tasty food and beverages at the end. At the end of the day, Andrew Cavaye and Caroline Jarolimek came out on top of the pro category.

 Picture of "John hunt" is actually Graham Leese who won expert 30-39 rather than sport. That's my bro so I can confirm identity haha

 Thanks man! tried my best based on results and hard to see number plate on it. Not knowing everyone personally have to make an educated guess sometimes!

 How blown out are the trails after the race? Are they in need of maintenance or are they in pretty good shape?

 @zuestman: totally understandable, great pics!

 @HSLD: I was riding sweep to make sure everyone made it down. Trails are pretty blown out. Thankfully we got a little rain today but doubt it was enough to do much.

 I need to get out there. Hear so many good things about that trail system. It’s just so hard to drive past Tokul, Tiger and RR with a bike on the back.

 Darrington is definitely worth passing Tokul, Tiger and RR. Get out there. It's worth it.
