Look the same as the easton grips that crc have had on sale(same company) . Im sure they are just rebranded
  • 13 4
wouldn't be suprised, since easton and rf basically the same company.
  • 9 1
Haha...first thing I thought when I saw them. I've got the Easton version of the grips.
  • 2 0
same deal with the wheels, etc.
  • 6 0
They are. Raceface will be mountain components and Easton will be road components.
  • 6 3
@Jsmoke: same deal with the entire cycling world made in China made in Taiwan
  • 4 0
My first thought too, same colour range, two sizes available....they are the same Easton grips that have been out for years now. Great grips btw.

flag seraph (Jul 8, 2017 at 9:05) (Below Threshold)
Not technically rebranded, since the Easton grips had the Easton logo all over the grip area. But they are the same design, yes.
  • 26 1
@seraph: That's... pretty much the definition of rebranding. Changing the brand name on a product.
  • 7 0
@Bob-Agg: but the raceface logo just grips sooooooo much better!
  • 4 4
@Bob-Agg: @Bob-Agg: I'm aware of what rebranding means. What I'm saying is that changing the brand on the grip is a little bit more involved than just a simple rebrand by most standards, since its design is integral in the shape and feel of the grips.

 and both made by Velo

race face and transition promotional vids are always the complete opposite of classical and boring "mtb promotional video"
  • 47 2
Pulling back that rubber to lock them seems very foreskinny to me
  • 56 5
What would you know about foreskin? You're an american
  • 87 1
@Grouty2505: that comments like me saying what do you know about dental work.
  • 3 2
 @Grouty2505: he did say foreSKINNY

@Grouty2505: Hey now, some of us Americans are 100% man.

These are just for the XC, AM and DH. I'm still waiting for the XXC, AXC (aggressive XC), trail, trials, aggressive trails, DJ, FR, and enduro version of these grips. We need grips too!
  • 45 0
Ya, I need some new grips pretty badly, but I need 29'er specific grips.
  • 2 1
 ..
  • 13 0
I'm waiting for the enduro light version, since I do enduro but not that enduro.
  • 2 0
i cant wait for the boost specific model!
  • 3 0
Totally with you. My whole life changed once I found AXC. Before I was just a boring schlep, now I ride AXC, joined a crossfit gym & do do Extreme BM (Extreme Bowling Matches)...
  • 1 0
 AXC=120mm and 65 degree HA
  • 15 0
So... Why doesn't five-ten make grips?
  • 2 0
 Yeah why don't they!
  • 11 0
Damn, they stole the pun bit and put it right there in the main article. Now what are we going to do here? Gripe?
  • 2 0
They killed the grip pun train! Awesome vid and article tho.
  • 3 0
@saso: Looks like it was actually you who let it slip out of our fingers.
  • 11 1
Looks like my days of accidentally stabbing an eye out while installing grips are over. Thank you Race Face!!!
  • 8 0
If they don't sell them individually they really should. I need mismatched teal and pink grips
  • 2 0
Grips wear and many of us have multiple bikes... so I got a teal and a pink set of Santa Cruz Grips. Great minds think alike.
  • 6 1
I love RF products but their customer service is terrible. They either don't respond to emails or take a week to get back to both customers and dealers. Good thing is I personally have never had to warranty any of their products, but can't say the same for some others I know.
  • 7 0
Ha ha ha... Dat TV commercial style...
  • 7 0
F*ck grips! I want the Race Face Grindcore logo shirt!!!!
  • 4 0
Didn't Ronco make the Grippler back in 1974 and you could also use it to make popsicles. I think they were available at these fine stores: Woolco, Kmart,Towers ,Woolworths.
  • 3 1
Been running the Easton version on a few bikes for quite a while and they're awesome so happy to see these continue as RF Gripplers. The 33mm diameter is great for bigger hands, they give nice traction in all conditions and they last forever.
  • 5 0
Let me guess, Chester uses 'em?
  • 1 0
yup, he runs the limited edition team-only "invisigripplers" so i hear
...gloveless
  • 4 3
Hahaha this is so cool, takn themselves not too serious. It's called confidence. The world is full with brands thinking they did the greatest inventions. Better to have some self-mockery

(Sorry for bad english)
  • 1 0
So if Easton is enging it's mountain gategory, is RF goimg to make bars with 9 decree bend? And what about great Havoc line? There is allready Easton Haven 35-stem rebranded as a Turbine R
  • 4 0
Not made for Enduro? I'm out.
  • 7 6
Had the Easton version. Lost an end cap in a crash. Easton wouldn't sell me one, local lbs said it wasn't worth their time (don't blame them). For $30 I expect better service. I use other brands now.
  • 4 4
You tried to warranty a grip you crashed on? Wow.
  • 3 3
@DrPete: No, I wanted to buy an end cap.

Looking at reviews on other sites, it seems that losing an end cap isn't uncommon. Just know if you lose one, you aren't getting another one. No idea why all the downvotes.

@JohanG: It's Pinkbike. People dowvote things they can't understand.

  • 2 2
 First thing I thought
  • 4 3
They are the exact same as the Easton grips as theraggyone says. I just bought them. £10 on CRC at the moment Smile
  • 3 2
I just bought these but went for the EASTON lettering. Their pretty nice grips to be fair
  • 2 1
The name reminds me of Kimmy Gibler from full house.... Not sure I want that on my bike. Lol
  • 5 5
Oh boy another grip with a hard outer lock/plastic piece to numb up the outside of your hand. Yeah I'll stick with inner lock only grips.
  • 2 0
I can barely handle the colour selection.
  • 2 0
i didnt know transition bikes made grips
