Specialized Hotrock
$225 USDThis is a super light, versatile kids bike my daughter has outgrown. The original Specialized Hotrock was upgraded with lighter custom wheels (DTSwiss 240 rear hub, Ultegra front, Alex Rims), 1x10 drivetrain, carbon handlebars and other high quality parts. It is as light as any Islabikes or equivalent quality build.
It is currently set up with road tires. I do have the mtb tires (Schwalbe Rocket Ron) available and can mount them up if desired.
It's been great for school commutes, island cruising, cyclocross, gravel, light duty mtb.
Lot's of life left. Fits 6 to 10 yo.

@TucsonDon: When you file a patent you are publicly disclosing your invention. In exchange you get commercial exclusivity. You don't get a copyright on the information and you don't get to send seize and desist letters to diy guys.
Your other option is keeping your methods a trade secret (like the Coca Cola recipe or Google's search algorithm). You can't really do both.
