PB, I would love to see a piece on XCO tire choices by different riders.

So curious about what XC racers use. Do they have cut down spikes?

I bet they are looking for the old Forekaster for this.

I've raced in the Snowshoe slop a couple of times... Once when it was 32-deg and sleeting, but I don't think I've ever seen the course so unrideable haha. Looks fun!

Fond memories of the 2005 NORBA stop there. The course went all the way down around the lake and then back up. The climb up was mostly double track but essentially turned into a creek that day. I was a junior and one lap was over an hour if I'm remembering right.

Reminds me a bit of the 24 hours of Snowshoe I raced back in 2000. WV had 30 days straight precipitation. Course was 14 miles long, each lap we ran 7 miles thru slop/mud and rode the other 7. Ruined a brand new pair of Sidis in the process. Being from the West, had never ridden roots so slippery. Good times. Can't wait for the racing to commence!

Going to be some carnage out there when one person goes down and they take out the whole group.

Curious as to what tires the racers will use on the course?
