I purchased a case of Red Bull JUST in appreciation of their efforts to bring FREE races to my living room. For every WC race shown, I will buy a case of your magic go go juice!
Thank you so much Red Bull!!!!!
yeah I remember that one gruesome crash from last year... you could see his shoulder just collapsing, then his arm flopping around like it might come off as he tumbled out... oh god that was sick... but i'd still like to see the rock garden in the feed!
That's cuz the times they showed (at least for the US) were in standard time. Doh. Just look at the UTC..that should be right. For reference, PDT is -7 from UTC.
Wait, so they're saying that 19:15 UTC is 11:15 PDT?? Wut. One of those is wrong. If 19:15 UTC is the actual time then it should be at 12:15 PDT (11:15 PST). GODDAM IT WHICH ONE IS RIGHT?????????
I don't mean I had the time wrong: I was refreshing the site the whole hour before the time they showed. I'm saying the stream didn't appear on the main page until the time they said, which was over an hour in.
Yeah but maybe that's because PB didn't have the right times? Dunno...I need someone from PB to confirm the actual time here, because unless it's not a live broadcast, it can't be at 19:15 UTC and 11:15 PDT at the same time.
I'd love to see Hill back on top again too. It's like he had so much potential to dominate but got sidetracked by injury. Of course I want Stevie for the win. Crush it!
At the very least, it's good to know I can go ride for myself on Saturday and not miss a shred of excitement... ;-)
Holy S***!!! How has hardly anyone commented on the fact that like the top 8 women just freakin' SLAYED it??!! Seriously my jaw was on the floor and I am SOO proud of them! The majority of those women I wouldn't call natural jumpers and they still hit those jumps at the bottom and you know what..that takes WAY bigger balls than from people that know how to jump!! Keep pushing each other ladies...you're killing it!!
I managed to watch it all last week because the time was spot on for me, all i can say is what a spectacle. Looks like its going to be another great time for me again, many thanks Pink bike and Red bull. No crashes this week please, just lots of stunning riding from all. Not too bothered who wins or loses, of course i am patriotic but just watching all those nutters is enough for me.
Not to be a pain in the ass, but it's a bit ignorant to call CET "Rest of Europe" when there's a whole different time zone for eastern Europe.. and GO HILL!!!
Damn seeing these ladies hit the jumps is gnarly! Ragot eating shit, Tracey landing hard breaking her seat, and Rachel getting a little off track but winning in the end...
calling it , Gwin, Hart and Hill....Love to see Hill disapoint them all and win. Steve Smith just might be up there if one of them three aren not and that would not suprise me, he is a dominate rider and has all the skills. Question to all, You think Matt Hunter would do good , I think he would totaly domminate.. just sayin.
it would be cool to see what a naturally talented free rider could do... not sure he'd dominate though - but probably surprise folks. If I'm not totally mistaken Thomas Vanderham raced the 2010 world champs and was about 20s back, which is DAMN impressive considering the training and prep the world cup riders he was competing against go through. Not to mention that a free rider is probably not hitting near vertical rock gardens at 30 mph on a regular basis, let alone training that way... Go Gwin!
id rather see gwins bike snap half way through his run... not that i dont like sessions they're well nice bikes its just that id love to see something go epically wrong on gwin but to be honest hes going to take ANOTHER victory..... nobody likes him any more....
and i want to see sam get back to his doninating form.. even if he cant do it on every track (yes Petermaritzburg get it sorted!!) but any combination of hart, gee or sam in the top 5 and be happy cos lets be honest gwin and minnaar will be 1-2 SUCKS
and minnaar must be pissed!!! hes been second so often in the last few seasons... 2010 to gee and then 2011 to gwin and it looks like this year is going to be a repeat!!! ffs
This might be his race but probably not, Gwin is probably saving something for the final.
Usually the top 5 are really intense to watch but this race might be a little more unpredictable. Its a good battle in the juniors between Rude, the Italians, and the Kiwi's
I totally think Lopes is one of the best bike riders of all time. From BMX thru is MTB career. HOWEVER, he is the most monotone boring announcer...ha! Nice try Brian
I saw brook go down in person and i really thought i was gonna see him stretchered off... stoked that it seems he came away with nothing, it was a brutal off
wouldnt have mattered what time, you can watch it later on on here because the have the video up after its finished just for those who missed it, me, well ill be watchin it on me s3 whilst on holiday enjoying some booze and nice weather
Now I don't want to ride my bike
