Mt Goldie Ridge just above the Panorama Resort features insane single tracks. Hopeful has to be one of the best trail I have ever ridden.

Hitting smooth berms and jumps is a ton of fun and I learn a lot from doing it that I can use on more “natural” trails, but this kind of deep backcountry ride is what I really love. Except the part where he’s hike-a-biking on a crumbly knife edge.

Anyone notice the non-production(proto) damper Remy is running on his forks? looks like a grip2 layout in grren. Current DVO compression knob has a distinct arrow like lever handle

@mininhi: I just purchased a ripmo af and the onyx fork it came with had the same compression knob seen here, and I was a bit confused by it as well.

@mininhi: 2022 product has been revised, a few internal changes and different knobs.

What's not obvious from the video or the narrative is that to get to Mount Goldie ridge involves significant ride up from the top of the mile one quad. multiple kilometers of climbing followed by a beautiful ridge ride and then a brutal hike a bike up a shale strewn steep slope to get to the ridge. I know, I hike that ridge and area least once or twice a year. It's a serious feat to get up there folks, unless Remy had a service truck ride up from the Panorama resort people or a helicopter ride. There's also a spectacular ride up from the Brewer lakes trail up to hopeful ridge and down. At one time it was a route of a local tough as heck bike hike race

The fella is front is clearly a great rider but Remy almost ran into him about 17 times, maybe let him lead a few sections??

The reason a regular riders gopro footage looks so average is cause they don't ride as close together as these guys do

Remy knows that the footage looks better with a rider out in front, especially if he’s following very closely.

@tbmaddux: Would be even better if the other guy would be filming Remy foe a while.

@chrsei: yeah but then they would have definitely lost their bear spray!

Remy’s GPS app sounds like: please, in 20ft turn left, on a EPIC MBT trail, then Shred it for a next 10miles…

Remy, not sure the time to put in a plug for Camelbak Chest Vest is right after Alex dropped his bear spray for the second time! Also, the people want Friday Fails!
  • 2 0
Because Alex put it in the wrong pocket... I had no issue with the same bag, same spray. User error...

I hope Remy is healing well from his crash earlier this month. Speaking of which, what happened to Friday Fails this week?

Someone asked that over in the shock knobs poll and Brian Park replied YouTube was giving them some challenges with FF but the PB crew is working on it.
