Sea Otter Classic Rescheduled for October
Well done to the organisers for looking at the calendar before choosing - Taichung Bike Week is just a day or two before, plus the Cali Enduro Series which will dilute the field of racers. S. L. O. W... C. L. A. P.

Sea Otter Classic Announces Cancellation of April Event with Plans to Reschedule
Ya see. This is what happens when Pinkbike publish clickbait titles which are innaccurate. The press release DOES NOT SAY ITS CANCELLED!! It says it is rescheduling it. That means the event is POSTPONED, not cancelled. Pinkbike, sort yourself out! #fakenews #wakirapedmyseattube etc

Ride More, Think Less - Opinion
We build a (demo/display) bike from new, we take some pictures, we throw it across trailhead carpark. (Drive side up, thank you). It's scratched. It's done. Now go ride it without overthinking every turn room and rock. It doesnt make us better riders, it just helps us to worry less.

Ride More, Think Less - Opinion
Just logged in with the only intention of propping your post and looking back out. (though i narrowly fall into the millenial bracket). The bike is great.... But the family is infinitely greater.

Getting to Know: Jakub Vencl
Holy thread revival Batman! (sorry guys, just spotted this) @christillott: Far better than old-skool DJ3s, I'm pleased to say! People would be surprised to learn how far RST has come in recent years. It is only riders snobbery and misguided perceptions that keeps them riding forks twice the price, that they never utilise to their full capabilities. Sure, RST make a lot of budget forks for OEM. There's no denying that... But they also make forks capable of getting podiums in other disciplines too. Try them if you get a chance - you'd be pleasantly surprised and it might just save you £500($650 to our US friends) on their next suspension purchase. (Plus it's always nice to show somebody up on a bike that's twice the price of the one you're riding) ;-)

John Tomac: American Mountain Bike Legend - Video
If your name is John Tomac, you command so much respect in your field that sponsors WANT to retain you. It's about respect. Mutual respect. Tomac raced Bell for as long as we can remember. Very few riders stay with a brand these days - its always "Who's paying more?!". When a Rider respects his sponsor, and they're as good as Tomac, the sponsor is happy to continue providing equipment and sending a cheque out 3-4 times a year because they know that their future customers see Tomac allign with their brand and even if they don't have the lightest/this seasons colour, they know people will be thinking "Tomac rides this.... What a Legend.... *clicks sponsor website to investigate product*" Its about respect. People would so well to take a leaf out of his book.

24 Bikes and Frames From the Taipei Cycle Show
We have a 2007 original Konig (with earlier linkage) in the office. It's the bosses bike. We're in Wales and it gets a pasting with our abrasive soils. Original bearings just get serviced once or twice a year. No issues on the linkage, ever.
