Retallack - the world acclaimed backcountry cat skiing destination and Cat Sass Women’s Retreats have teamed up to offer a unique women’s mountain biking experience – September 1-5, 2011.

The retreat will feature three unbelievable days of riding epic trails with experienced coaches / guides - Lindsey Voreis and Lorraine Blancher. World-class coaching, holistic nutrition, yoga, divine cuisine, and a spa day with Eminence Organics skincare will all be part of a complete package. Riders will be able to access single-track descents of up to 5,000 vertical feet via a combination of off-road vehicles and helicopters. Luxury food and accommodation will be provided at Retallack’s 4-Green Key eco-lodge - located in the heart of the Selkirk Mountains, and accessible by car approximately one hour north of Nelson, BC.

Cat Sass Owner, Galena Pal, said “Following in the footsteps of our successful cat skiing retreat, we’re excited to be able to offer this new adventure for women who like to ride bikes! Retallack is a special hideaway to explore the rich, dark earth of the Kootenay’s finest trails; improve your riding skills; build confidence; and breathe the fresh air of the Selkirk Mountains.”

Former “Survivor: Africa” star and Specialized AllRide Tour Rider, Lindsey Voreis, said “This retreat will provide a supportive environment for women to experience outer and inner adventures. I can’t wait to soak in the scenery and ride trails back down to our private luxury lodge tucked in amongst the ancient Cedar trees. Ride, eat, hot tub, repeat!”

Former Crankworx Gala, World Master’s Downhill, and Canadian Downhill Champ, Lorraine Blancher, said “This is the ultimate summer retreat for intermediate to advanced riders interested in developing their skills and taking their riding to the next level. It is going to be ‘The Camp’ of the summer and boys…. you’re going to be jealous!”

Do it!!! I've spent time at Retallack in the winter and it is. the. best. After talking to trail builder Riley McIntosh I know that mountain biking there in the summer is going to be just as good at skiing there in the winter, if not better!

Gave them a call today to find out more details, the total tax in price of the trip works out to $1682.64 CAD/person. As discussed - if you came with a group of 4 or more I would be will to discount it down to $1350.00 CAD/person. It's a dream trip. Anyone want to make it cheaper with me?

The price is not for everyone, so it is not in the article and serious ladies will understand that a high end get away like this won't come at a price like hitting up a resort for a few days.
