This weekend it is all about the youngsters here at bikepark Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis. Like every year the world’s best young shredders met up to crown their queens and kings at the iXS Rookies World Champs. We caught up with 25 of them, some of the most promising talents out there, and asked them who their favorite riders are.

A feature on kids suspension setup? So many shocks not setup to run low enough pressure for kids on 20 and 24's. A Vorsprung Tuesday Tune on kids options and options for experts who might be able to take stock stuff and tune it for a kid would be awesome.

Holly shit how can those kids buy demo s-works?
  • 3 1
Here are some options (not in order of probability)
-child-labor
-lottery winner
-wealthy parents
-heir

However, it is worth to keep in mind that as soon as you are 16 you can start earning a bit of income and actually afford all of this.

As a parent, If my kid was riding the rookie world champs I would invest in their potential as well. Would not be too difficult to setup a relationship with a shop team to buy previous season race bikes at a reduced cost. The kid here with the S-Works Demo, Gabriel Wibner. His brother Fabio is a Red Bull athlete sponsored by Specialized... so access to top end bike parts not too difficult.

@darkmuncan: im just saying coming from a 16 year old myself i worked at a local ski hill for a year along with working at a grocery store for 1 year aswell i was able to make 7k to buy my enduro elite 2018. In my opinion kids should at least have a 5 or 10 % share in buying the bike to make them so they appreciate the bike better and take care of it.
