Delta Airlines Eliminates Fee for Sporting Equipment Including Bikes
Yay, super stoked as I have fly delta for work all the time, and this just saved me $300 on my flight in September.

Review: The 2020 Santa Cruz Hightower Gets a New Look & More Travel
I just pulled Ht LT apart and noticed some slop in two bearings in the lower pivot, went onto the site put in my info and received all new bearings, seals, and caps for all of the pivots for free, including covering the shipping.

Tech Randoms Part 1: Crankworx Rotorua 2019
@davetrumpore: wasn’t it more common for artists to come up with signature helmet designs than launch their own helmet company? I always think of Scott Russell’s Screaming Chief on Arai’s that was done by TLD.

Ibis Medium Tranny

$1600 USD
I’m selling an Ibis Tranny. I built this up from a frame from the original owner a year and a half ago and haven’t really been riding it or traveling with it as much as I planned. The bike has overall wear from a couple of years of riding but is in great shape with one note the rear triangle had a paint chip that was a little deeper than I cared for and I had a local shop patch it. I also have a Richey Break-a-way bag that I can sell along with this. The nice thing about the Tranny is you can get most of the bike in the Break-a-way bag and fly your bike for free. Fork: Fox 34 Fit4 with 130mm Stem: 50mm Thomson Handlebars: Ibis Aluminum Seatpost: Thomson 125mm dropper Seat: Ibis Wheels: Ibis OEM hubs with Easton/Racface Arc 30 rims Brakes: Shimano SLX 180mm ice tech rotors front and back (setup moto style) Cranks: Raceface Turbines Drivetrain: Shimano XT 1x11

Fox Factory DPX2 200x57

$350 USD
I have a 2018 Factory DPX2 that came on a Hightower LT CC frame. It was ridden for a few months and was just serviced by Fox. Measures 7.875" (200mm) eye-to-eye with a 2.25" (57mm) stroke. Lever actuated Open, Medium, Firm modes. This is a great shock and a huge improvement over the DPS.

Vorsprung Announces Smashpot Coil Conversion Kit
@VorsprungSuspension: I am just curious if much effort has been put into progressive coil springs? On motorcycles I have always immediately removed such springs and trashed them for linear springs with digressive cartridges/shock (completely different use case than MTB though). My point I know a lot of motorcycles come with progressive coil springs by design, and if this has been explored for MTB springs.
