KONA ROADHOUSE, a cool steel disc brake/gravel capable road bike. Kona produced this bike for a few years and it is a special combination. This bike originally listed at $3800 and I am offering this lightly used for half that price. It has full Ultegra Hydralic group, Mavic Allroad Elite wheels, and a nice Kona finishing kit. Plus you get some nice Bontrager Bat Cages and XT pedals if you want them. The frame size is 52, with a a 535 mm top tube, reach of 374 mm and 564 mm stack. I'm 5'8" and it was a great fit for me. In Kona's words: "A classic Reynolds 853 steel frame delivers a ride only steel is capable of. Modern touches, like disc brakes, thru-axles and a Kona Carbon fork, keep it contemporary. On closer look, you will see what makes this bike a Kona: tapered head tube, flattened seat stays and a beautiful fillet-brazed frame." Full info is here: https://2017.konaworld.com/roadhouse.cfm This bike is in great shape - I put roughly 600 miles on it. Photos don't quite do it justice as it looks glorious in person. And the ride is something special, as anyone who has enjoyed a good steel road bike will attest. The tires on this bike are new, tubeless Schwalbe G-Ones with the 30 mm casing. The bars are 44 cm and the cranks are 175 mm, a little wider and longer than stock for greater leverage and fun on rough roads and trails. A little more cyclo-crossish in other words.

Bontrager Race size M (16.5”) in pretty good condition with a new fork and some nice parts. Original owner. This frame was made in Santa Cruz in ’94.It has a much newer a suspension-adjusted Vicious Cycles steel fork (2005), King headset and Race Face square taper BB. The Race Face stem is included(standard not OS). Well-loved but straight, paints is scratched and scuffed but no dings. Repainted in 2000 by the same Santa Cruz shop that did all the pre-Trek Bontragers (it's powder coated). I’ve got some other 26er bits that would go with it too (wheelset and cranks). More photos and details on request. Note: This is frame a RACE and not a RACE LITE. This is a best offer ad. I would love to see this bike go to someone that will enjoy it and appreciate it's place in MTB history. Local pickup preferred but happy to work out shipping - US only please.
