5 Key Stats From Downhill Racers in the Pinkbike State of the Sport Survey
A lot of people talking about the “Pro class”. I’ve always thought of it as the Elite class (aka your fast but might also be cheap) In a capitalist, un-unionised, big supply sport racers are going to get what they can negotiate. If you have no results, eyeball time or serious future potential then in a negotiation you’ll have little bargaining power. If all the riders formed a union and downed tools (racing, insta, YouTube etc) until a minimum salary structure was agreed then you would have bargaining power. However this would mean the riders actually earning striking for unknowns of the sport. Highly unlikely. $0 to 5ks doing give up yet. 2023 could be your year! Better than sitting at a desk or on a construction site. It ain’t all about money.

Cube AMS150 with small crack (26")

$100 GBP
Here is my Cube AMS 150 size 18" (I'm 6"0 and am at the top end of this size). There is a very small crack in the weld on the driveside chainstay behind the bottom bracket. The crack can be seen in the photos of this listing. If you can repair, obtain a replacement chainstay or risk riding it (not my advice) then the rest of the frame, shock and bearings work great. The rear shock is a Fox Float CTD, 216x64mm. The headtube is tapered from 1"1/8 to 1.5" (there is a 1"1/8 crown race reducer included but no 1.5" crown race) Headtube length is approximately 130mm The link shows the complete bike that the frame and shock came from. http://www.thebikelist.co.uk/cube/ams-150-pro-2013 also including: headset and a 1"1/8 conversion crown race. hope seat clamp QR rear axle 12mm happy to ship to Mainland UK (postage £20 - parcel force tracked and signed)
