***Reduced**** Selling my son’s Marin Nail Trail 6, simply because he has outgrown it. Spec as here, https://www.marinbikes.com/gb/bikes/2018-nail-trail-6 Size small. Pretty stock spec but we did add some matching answer handlebars, ergonomic grips and a bottle cage. The grips are looking a tad tatty but only damaged on the ends. We have also added a Brand-X remote dropper. The tyres were upgraded to Maxxis, set up tubeless with stans fluid. When I bought the bike for him, there was no invisiframe kit available so I bought a large pack of “bike shield” which I cut myself to cover the main vulnerable bits. You can see in the photos where this is applied, when I have tread to cut the film to suit, not as neat as the proper Invisiframe but it has done a good job stopping scuffs. This is on the top tube, down tube including fully underneath it, chain and seat stays on the outer edges. It’s quite thick stuff, so good for protecting, less good for the “invisi” bit! This has kept the frame and bike in really good condition. No marks on the fork stanchions. Rock Shox Recon with air spring so adjustable down to the lower weight rider. I will include the stock parts swapped out, and a Marin branded front mudguard flap thing. Plenty of photos attached but please ask any questions. May be able to post with Paisley Freight, around £30, but collection preferred. Any question, please send me a message.

DMR Sect. This was my son’s jump bike but he is concentrating on mountain biking more now. Fairly stock spec but it does have a FSA carbon fibre wrapped seatpost and Burgtec galaxy saddle added. We have the original saddle we will include in the sale. Burgtec composite pedals. The bike also has the routing and a special headset/top cap for the front brake cable for bar spins but we (he) didn’t want a front brake for some reason? The rear brake is Shimano Deore that we upgraded from the tektro model but can include a spare tektro rear brake as a back up. ODI longneck grips complete the extra bits. In good condition as I hope can be seen from the photos. The worst scuff is photographed. Any inspections welcome. Could possibly arrange shipping, with Paisley Freight, who I have used before, for around £30. It’s a faff packing bikes so preference is collection.

First Ride: 2022 Specialized Kenevo SL - The Electric Enduro
Never mind the bike.....a Giro Tyrant, worn by someone less than 25. Gives me hope that I can get one to protect my gizzards and not need to be able to slap berms and steeze to pull it off. *50:01, nah, 51 today. Happy birthday me.

Tech Randoms: Nove Mesto XC World Cup 2021
I’ve got a random box of bits and bolts in my shed, but it sure isn’t satisfying. In fact, it’s frustrating as it is able to disguise the bit/bolt I’m looking for until I’ve bought a new one. I’m looking at you Mr brake callipers bolts of varying lengths...

Video: Friday Fails #169
I honed my skills on a pallet propped against an empty oil drum, with special “superslippywhenwet” ply as the launch surface. Damn, thinking back, snapped a pair of handlebars schralping that huck*. *these terms made no sense in ‘78.
