Here's Why Chromag's Doctahawk Hardtail is So Long & Slack
@goflowz: This is nothing new with Chromag's though, the Doctahawk doesn't cost anymore than the Surface, Primer, or Samurai -- premier Canadian made models that have proven very popular over the years to clearly there is a market for a $$ steel hardtail frame. For some, supporting local fabrication is important. For those who don't care as much, they have the Wide Angle, Rootdown, and other Taiwanese built frames at roughly half the price with the same geometry and design qualities as the locally made equivalents.

Rear derailleur, rear shifter, and 1130 11-42 cassette all brand new. Used maybe for parking lot test rides if that. MEC sells the rear derailleur at $103, cassette at $119. Lbs has the shifter around $40. Save tax and lots of money, pick up in person preferred.

Neko Mulally Has Been Testing a 27.5 / 29 Wheeled Frankenbike
I've been running my Chromags (Rootdown BA and Primer) 29 x 2.3 in the front and 27.5 x 2.8 rear for the past 2 years or so now. I didn't like the 27.5 x 2.8 in the front, but love the traction and bit of compliance for the rear on a hardtail. I loved the 29 up front for better rollover, speed, and precision vs. the 27.5 x 2.8

Review: 6 Months on SDG's New Tellis Dropper Post
Except the Manic orients the cable opposite to this SDG. The SDG is easier setup wise, but the reverse orientation allows me to run my preferred hacked XT front shifter

Review: 6 Months on SDG's New Tellis Dropper Post
This post sounds very similar in most/all aspects to the X Fusion Manic. Budget price, reliable performance, cheap and easy cartridge swap, very light lever action, and a little longer length than average for a given drop.

XT 165mm 68/73mm bb crankset with 30t NW almost new

$175 CAD
I've been holding onto these super rare XT 165mm cranks, but I don't actually have a bike to put them on. Great for bikes with low bb's, as these are lightweight and stiff. Bombproof Shimano Hollowtech II interface that is easy to use and service They are in almost new condition. Look at the 'tips' of the cranks to see how pristine they are. No foot rub on the arms. A couple of very minor nicks here and there from being moved around in storage over the past few years, the axle is a little bit greasy but this is as close to new as a set of pre-owned cranks can be. Includes brand new steel 30t SRAM narrow wide ring, this will last at least 3-4x longer than your typical aluminum chain ring. 24mm axle with 68/73mm bb shell spacing
