Review: Industry Nine's New Hydra Hubs Have 690 Points of Engagement
By all means good for a hardtail or a BMX, or something with zero pedal kickback, but for most full-sus designs I think it'd make things worse.

Review: Industry Nine's New Hydra Hubs Have 690 Points of Engagement
This will make pedal kickback worse though, right? Everyone loved how Aaron pulled off his chainless win, with many theorising that without a chain his suspension could be more supple. Put a 690-engagement hub on and you're only going to make the suspension/drivetrain interaction problem worse.

2016/17 Nukeproof Pulse Team 650B (large)

$2600 GBP
For sale: 2016/17 Nukeproof Pulse Team 650b (size Large) This is my 2016 bike that I got in March 2016, but a few months ago it was rebuilt onto a 2017 frame. It's had comparatively light use compared to a lot of DH race bikes, as I'm getting older and slower... Everything is in fantastic condition and everything works perfectly; there's a couple of minor ankle scuffs on the swingarm, and they're the worst thing about the bike. It's completely stock apart from Renthal carbon bars & stem. I have the original bars/stem too, if preferred. The ti spring pictured doesn't come with the bike, it'll be on an unused steel coil spring. I meant to change it before taking the photos but forgot. £3,000 ono. RRP was £5,000, so considering the new frame and the condition of the rest of the bike this is bargain. I'm hoping for a quick (and hassle-free!) sale. The bike is viewable in Ludlow (Shropshire), and I could potentially deliver depending on where you are. The full spec is viewable at http://www.nukeproof.com/products/pulse-team-2016/, which obviously shows the older frame.

British Enduro Series Round 3 - Afan, Day One
They're just a minor annoyance to me generally, and the effects are short lived. I think some parts of America call them no-see-ums, IIRC.

@Lagr1980: He doesn't have enough yet, so if he's off to Lourdes I guess he must be on the British Cycling national team?

@dsmdan18: Not yet - he has 2 points from a Portugal Cup a few weeks ago (https://www.rootsandrain.com/race4027/2016-mar-6-portugal-cup-1-sao-bras-de-alportel/). Maybe he'll race on the British Cycling national team?
