Ha ha, the kid @1:16 so stoked about salad
(May 12, 2012 at 8:33)
Squamish must be the center of the mtb universe. Stay home and ride trails, drive south less than an hour to ride the shore or drive north less than an hour to whistler. This is where its at.
(May 12, 2012 at 9:48)
Yes it is
(May 12, 2012 at 10:35)
* with the borders of scotland not far behind- 8 trail centres and a world cup - level DH venue (not to mention a vast network of unmarked natural trails) all within 2 hours drive of each other...
also, a fantastic video. i want to go to canada now!
(May 12, 2012 at 11:52)
I think you'll find Whistler is a far more accurate 'centre'. The bike park is there for starters, then you have Pemberton to the north and Squamish to the south, both within 30min drive. A little further south is the Shore. Whistler is cliché and crowded, but realistically, it's the centre.
(May 12, 2012 at 12:26)
if ya say so
(May 12, 2012 at 13:08)
Well seeing as I live in the region, I think it's a fair thing to claim at my end.
(May 12, 2012 at 14:05)
And then about an hour south of the shore you got Bellingham which is mighty fine as well if i do say so myself
(May 12, 2012 at 0:35)
That burger looked soooo good!
(May 12, 2012 at 1:58)
"Mmm - this IS a tasty burger!"
(May 12, 2012 at 3:55)

(May 12, 2012 at 7:08)
Is it just me, or was old man Simmons riding harder than anyone?
(May 12, 2012 at 9:48)
Wade passed me on the way up...theman has some cardio.
(May 12, 2012 at 10:59)
Simmons isn't old - he is immortal
(May 12, 2012 at 8:30)
seems like you gotta be Wade Simmons to clear all the jumps
(May 12, 2012 at 7:13)
Thanks to all the fine folks at SORCA, as well as Ted and his build crew, doing it right and really good!
(May 12, 2012 at 9:23)
don't forget Pemberton 90 mins north and horseshoe bay/sunshine coast 90 mins south. I rarely leave here though.
(May 12, 2012 at 12:14)

(May 12, 2012 at 8:24)
Fun trail, but why so wide? Looks wider than a sidewalk.
(May 12, 2012 at 14:17)
Your eyes do not deceive you! There's a reason why it is fun- for everyone- and the design has a lot to do with that
(May 14, 2012 at 21:07)
5 feet wide is the width of the 303ccr excavator that was used.
(May 13, 2012 at 9:02)

Really cool that they put the work into this and it turned out so well !
(May 12, 2012 at 4:01)
Its a damn shame that took 10 years years to achieve but only 7 months to actually build. Red tape sucks!!!!
(May 12, 2012 at 7:41)
(May 12, 2012 at 2:46)
