Jared Graves Announces That He Is Officially Cancer Free

Great news for Jared Graves today as has just announced that he is officially cancer free. It's been almost ten months since Jared was diagnosed with a brain tumor in September.

bigquotesResults in from yesterday’s MRI. Officially cancer free! Now it’s just fully getting over the side effects of chemo which linger a little bit. But energy levels get better every day. So glad to be past this chapter in my life. It truly puts things in perspective and makes the little things that sometimes stress you out seem so insignificant. Thanks so much for all the amazing support I’ve had from every one of you all. And especially all my awesome sponsors that have stuck with me through the last 10 months. Got a couple new bikes in the process of being built to start getting back to full fitness, which I’ll be able to show off real soon.—Jared Graves

 Jared put his news out just as I was discovering my cancer. One more surgery to wrap things up, but as of now, cancer free too. f*ck yeah and f*ck cancer. Let’s ride some f*cking bikes.

 I'm new to this cancer thing. I don't have it but in the last 3 weeks it's come to pass that both my parents and my father in law are afflicted. One will not make it, one is making it, and one will require several coin tosses to come up with a maybe. All this to say I dragged my bike back to my hometown for the visit this week and I finally rode it. Kind of an easy goer but you are now on the list of people I got muddy for as I tried to unplug for a bit.

 Fuck cancer man, glad you're almost through it. I was in chemo when Jared got diagnosed and I'm almost 1 year cancer free. It can happen to anyone at anytime.

 Dude had a potential life/career ending illness and while I'm sure the last 10 months have felt like a lifetime for Graves and his family, in the scheme of the diagnosis, it's a short time frame and he's already looking at getting back on the bike. Absolute animal and inspiration.

Don't push yourself too hard, give your body time to heal after all this. From my hubby's experience, it took a few months to get stronger after finishing chemo. Being outside in nature a lot helped heaps.

 Fuck yeah! Great news. I recommend daily CBD usage to fasten the recovery if you are not taking it already. Saying from my own experience - it helped my mum A LOT after 6x chemo. Get well dude.
