Absolutely gutted for Matt Jones, was looking forward to him riding. Seems like a wise choice not to compete, the risk of another blow to the head the next day just isn't worth taking.

The important thing is he opted not to compete, faced with potential brain injury. He deserves all sorts of credit for this. So do his sponsors for supporting him in this decision
