Lockdown life is starting to get me down. Things are going pear shaped, think I might be going mad hahaha. Riding off the roof and now over my house on my bike!!! Welcome to Ep1 of home Rampage. Going to try and do a few of these for you guys but am going to need your help! Super hard to think of original stuff so going to need your thoughts. Let me know what you want to see in the next episode?—Brendan Fairclough

The ridge line looks interesting for vid 2 maybe a leap from the ridge to the shed / garage. Also maybe give Danny Macaskill a shout he will have endless ideas, saw a video of him riding slack lines in his garden. Your vid reminds me of when I realised me and my brother had outgrown my parents house - started playing football from the front garden over the house to the back garden. More please!
It's a shame they didn't show any footage of Brendog getting down off of the ridge with his bike after he stalled. I reckon that could've been entertaining.
I was honestly on the edge of my seat as he was lifting that 2nd piece of plywood to the backside of the house.
Thanks for the vid Brandon
And stay safe!

@savagelake: Funny, we're taking about this...I'm in Nova Scotia Canada and restrictions re some outdoor activities just got lifted at 3:00pm today. We're free to go into the woods as long as we don't mingle with people outside of your household.
In some ways, our lockdown isn't too severe on personal freedoms. We're allowed to go out to exercise once a day, and we can drive to that exercise as long as the drive is significantly shorter than the exercise. And Brendan lives ridably close to some good trails, so he's presumably doing this for fun, rather than because he didn't have a choice
@mountainsofsussex: Our trails officially open in the AM (as if we were NOT not riding on them). Now, we get to deal with the a*sholes who were trying to maim people. According to the State folks they know exactly who did it....
This was a video taken today while on my road bike, near a MTN trail....
Hate to be the killjoy but this is seriously irresponsible. Yes I get that he's an experienced and very skillful rider and what he can do blindfold the rest of us could never acheive but shit happens and this is just asking for shit to happen and atbthis time to take risks to put unnecessary stress on the healthcare system is just selfish and irresponsible. On top of that people like Brendan influence younger less skilled riders who are likely to take more chances and get out of their depth.
Yes you are bored, we are all really bored but come on doctors and nurses are putting their lives on the line and this is just pissing about coz you cant go out and ride dirt but you want the views.
Credit to Deaks for the stuff he is putting out at this time and actually being sensible about it. But then he was a soldier and his other half a nurse, so he gets it.
I didn't want to be that guy, I appreciate you taking the hit and being that guy. You said everything I was thinking better than I would have said it.
All love for Brendog, but now really ain't the time.
You`re totally right, and actually the most concerning thing is not what he is individually doing, but the fact that it is broadcasted. Youtube and of course Pinkbike also have a part of responsibility, but denying it is easy...
Not every location has overworked health care professionals like NYC. Where I live, ER visits are actually down because COVID-19 has hit us way gentler than anticipated and other non-COVID19 ER visits are down too. If I hurt myself on my trails right now I'd probably, on average, get treated more quickly than before COVID19.
@rickybobby18: No that's true, but I think he has a point given that the British Healthcare System was on the verge of breaking down just a few weeks ago. They have only 7 ventilators per 100.000, Germany in comparison has around 30. So I think it'd be reasonable to keep it safe in GB atm.
@Shredtheduck Did you know that most US hospitals are suffering through an unsustainable financial crisis because they have no 'customers'? Soon they won't be able to afford to pay staff, buy supplies, or keep the lights on. This is what happens in a for-profit healthcare system and I'm not shedding a tear for them, but they would love to have some broken bones that that can bill our insurance providers for....
I don’t think any unskilled young riders will be making ramps over there houses after watching this plus when Mrs Fairclough gets home it’ll be down in no time !
@bman33: HEY! Don't try to speak/think outside the group. Not allowed and SOOOOOO irresponsible! Make sure to keep your mask on inside your toilet paper fort! Or you'll be skewered on facebook!!
@endlessblockades: exactly! Broken bones are bread and butter for hospitals to pay the bills. No doubt the exposure event of an injury is not ideal with the need to attend a hospital (in the interest of observing responsible pandemic adherence to the stay home orders but most hospitals are FAR from being inundated right now, they need cases to cut.
@rickybobby18: so ok, if you live in a place with a low population density it's less likely to be an issue. I'd imagine that the majority of downvotes are coming from disgruntled lockdownees in rural US who are wondering what the fuss is about.
But on the other hand, where I live (about an hour's drive away from Brendog), the local district general is completely overrun by Covid-19, and that combined with a lack of PPE and adequate testing for staff, has lead to the death of several of my wife's (who is a GP, and worked there in her first 2 years as a junior doctor) former colleagues. So, not that chill, really.

So...chill?
**Overwhelming number of hospitals, doc offices, etc. are empty/dead. The virus is real, don't subscribe to all the hyperbole folks.**

Like you say love Brendog but poor judgement this time.
