So sick!! Just make sure to fill those screw holes with silicone when you're done... Otherwise it'll be pissing rain indoors soon

Watching this that’s the first thing that came to my mind when he started screwing plywood to his shingles!

@scotttherider: They aren't shingles, they're roof tiles. No way a screw is going through them.
  • 3 0
@commental: oh ok. We don’t see tiles out here.
  • 4 0
@scotttherider: I love the ivy and moss... his roof is basically a living organism! Perhaps the moss will just heal over the wounds.

Next time you are in Canada grab a bunch of Robertson head screws and a driver, you will never look at a Philips again. P.S thanks that was fun.

Torx works pretty well too. Anything is better than Philips.
  • 2 0
Robertson or torx are so much better than Phillips or pozi don't know why we still use them..

@rossmcw: WHAT! not a fan of flat head?

The ridge line looks interesting for vid 2 maybe a leap from the ridge to the shed / garage. Also maybe give Danny Macaskill a shout he will have endless ideas, saw a video of him riding slack lines in his garden. Your vid reminds me of when I realised me and my brother had outgrown my parents house - started playing football from the front garden over the house to the back garden. More please!

It's a shame they didn't show any footage of Brendog getting down off of the ridge with his bike after he stalled. I reckon that could've been entertaining.

Please do your part to help with the COVID-19 pandemic. Riding irresponsibly puts you and others at risk. Injuries put unnecessary stress on the medical system, and right now they need to focus all resources on fighting the virus. Practice social distancing, avoid group rides and anything else that increases your chances of exposure. Follow advice and directives from your local health authority, and don't take unnecessary risks.

Lockdown? Crime to go ride trail there?
  • 9 0
If it's in your neighborhood probably not but if you drive somewhere with a bike on your rack you can get ticketed in some parts of the world.
  • 8 1
@greener1: thank goodness i'm not in of those places. condolences to those that are, and here's hoping u guys get to ride soon.
  • 2 0
@savagelake: Funny, we're taking about this...I'm in Nova Scotia Canada and restrictions re some outdoor activities just got lifted at 3:00pm today. We're free to go into the woods as long as we don't mingle with people outside of your household.
  • 3 0
 @greener1: awesome. have fun!
  • 2 0
Its his house, hardly a crime

In some ways, our lockdown isn't too severe on personal freedoms. We're allowed to go out to exercise once a day, and we can drive to that exercise as long as the drive is significantly shorter than the exercise. And Brendan lives ridably close to some good trails, so he's presumably doing this for fun, rather than because he didn't have a choice

@mountainsofsussex: Our trails officially open in the AM (as if we were NOT not riding on them). Now, we get to deal with the a*sholes who were trying to maim people. According to the State folks they know exactly who did it....

This was a video taken today while on my road bike, near a MTN trail....
