Don't forget to complete your XC Fantasy team before the race starts on Sunday. If you don't know who to pick, check out our Analysis article and our predictions in the Pinkbike Primer. There are prizes for each round, but now is the best time to build a team since you'll be in the running to win the Grand Prize. Visit the Fantasy homepage to make sure you have the fastest team possible for Round 1.

The cut off time for team selection should be before XCC IMO.

Absolutely! Qualifying points count towards the DH fantasy. Why shouldn't xcc count for the XC fantasy?

Yip and include the xcc in the points for the weekend. Based on that all my riders except one placed top 10 (and cink came 11th) so I would actually have a chance of winning this for once

@JasonALap: Qualifying points don't count toward your Fantasy DH team's ranking (and XCC won't count towards XC League). Only the final race day result counts. With DH, we close the league before Qualifying but after Timed Training. We feel that the XCC race results shouldn't have much impact on the XCO result, so it seems fair to keep the league open until right before the XCO start. Plus, everyone should be stoked to play fantasy league after watching the short track!

@sarahmoore: did they change scoring this year? I could have sworn qualifying points counted last year in the DH fantasy.

@sarahmoore: Short track absolutely has the potential to impact the XC. It literally creates the starting grid.

seeing Jenny Rissveds on the start list makes me happy. Salute

Womens XC field will make for amazing racing this year. I am more pumped for this than DH. And I am rarely pumped.

Jenny Rissveds (former Olympic champion) racing again,
Julie Bresset (former Olympic champion) racing again after injury,
Pauline Ferrand Prevot (former XCO, CX, and Road world champion) recovering from surgery and racing.

Jolanda, Kate, and so much more!

***keep an eye on Sina Frei

How do I add Keegan Swenson to my team. He has been racing hard this year in the US and expect some decent finishes from him at the world cup.

Why does the fantasy list of starters not match the actual list of starters?
  • 1 0
Your Fantasy Team contains 6 Team Athletes. Select 3 male athletes and 3 female athletes to complete your Fantasy Team. The riders you can choose in the Fantasy League system have been selected by the following criteria:
- The rider did at least 2 WC races last year
- The rider had at least 1 top 60 finish
- Select first year elite riders ( Juniors in 2018 )

New Riders may be added round per round though so let us know in the comments if you think there's someone who should be added!

@sarahmoore: Martins Blums from team CST Sandd Bafang meets all criteria.

@sarahmoore: Keegan Swenson (Highest Ranked US Male on the Start List #23)
