Like most trails, Buck Wild has been a long process of building, riding and perfecting. And like most trail builders, I'm rarely satisfied with my work, which is why I haven't published many videos of this trail. As we came into fall I had this idea of an ethereal video following me as I take a mellow lap. The line isn't quite finished, and much of it needs to be perfected, but I hope you enjoy! Huge thanks to Dillon Batt for shooting this! - Skye

Nice work Skye! You make it look smooth and effortless. We are so fortunate to have this right in the middle of our little city.

We are also thankful for all the work you and the rest of the team do on the trail Skye (shout out to Alec too). One of the best riding spots in the country right in the middle of town.

@rivercitycycles: Was thinking same, if only, there wouldn't be a gaps between jumps,
then its easy...

@greg390: Start on the two new jump lines in the skills area, then Peterbuilt, then Stalingrab, then Hollywood.... then you can follow Skye on the big stuff.

I remember riding some shuttle laps with Skye on Mount Spokane a few years ago. There were wildfires everywhere, and when the rain started coming down, we all piled into a van and headed to the top for some hero dirt. While I was struggling to keep up, Skye was nose bonking, jibbing and whipping over every tiny bump. Solid dude and solid rider. Keep up the awesome work.

haha we made sure not to highlight a couple areas where the trail needs work. It also has two more jumps that aren't completed at the end. But thanks man!

DREAMIEST EDIT this month ???? look at this line !!!!!! I cant believe I'm stopping freeride when I see this, it is so beautiful

Insane dirt work, riding, and edit production!
So whats the average distance between doubles like that and also for rollers?
  • 3 0
Most gaps are 20-30 feet and each roller is about 20 feet from low to low

 Noticed the shoulder buzz.
Love the bike. Love the trails. I'm a local rider and live 27 and what jump lines it has to offer. Always looking for something like this to help build and ride on. B hill is it? Also would like to know if that's the smuggler TR or not! Cheers and thanks is for the sick edit. I want to go riding now. Time for some gaps baby!

Nice job skye you make that impossible trail look so easy i bet it helps to be on a trail bike????
  • 3 0
It's just practice homie, the trail was designed around a dh bike. I would say that upping your tire pressure does help, I try to be around 35 or 40 psi when riding buck wild.
  • 1 0
Respect man, looks like a lot of time put into those features. Looks like it flows so nicelySmile
  • 1 0
Watched this too many times already looks amazing! Where's this trail start? Can't wait to make it up there
  • 1 0
I'm glad it gets you stoked! If you haven't been to beacon before, the trail is on trail forks, I would start with that. If you have been there the start is just below Rushmore.

@schilly: Oh sweet! Didn't notice it was added to there thanks man. Appreciate it!
