Video: Chatting With Seth's Bike Hacks
As a longtime cordcutter that tries to spend more time outside/riding than marinating in media... I stumbled upon Seth, Alex, Phil, Cathro, BKXC and now Bobo (lol) simply looking for trail intel. The ability to preview new trails with suggested routes outside my state, etc. was a game-changer. I ended up referencing their content enough to guilt myself into contributing some $dough$ (How much did we drop on maps back in the day?!). Despite personality differences, the genuine love of the sport is what's contagious. Keep it up Y'Tubers!

Jackson Goldstone's Day Out With Dad - Video
One for the fam... Thx PB. My daughter is barely four and cranking around w/no training wheels. It'd be a dream come true if she still likes riding w/dear ol' Dad in 10 years. Shred or no shred, we'll make two-wheel time til' the end.

1 Question - Is Social Media Having a Positive or Negative Impact on our Sport?
Unless you're marketing to pay bills, i side with thinking social media is just the new magazine rack next to the toilet. The difference... It can go everywhere, prompting some to get confused and virtually defecate all over the superinfohwy. The real question; who's gonna clean it all up? Will our posts be left like cave drawings for future civilizations to decifer? May the Almighty algorithm help them.

When Are New Standards Called For? - Pinkbike Poll
Option 1 for me... B/C I don't have to - and won't - buy but a fraction of what's out there. I'm good as long as all my motley widgetness still runs fun. Can't I still lust from afar as we did the smokey Ferrari/babe poster from the 80's? Time will come to trade-in/up and pine for the latest greatest. Have some wallet will power and just be glad companies care to keep pushin' ...dayumn!

Pinkbike Poll: Does Bike Weight Matter?
My blurry eyes lose count of those tiny little mm every time. Inching along in blissful ignorance. I mean... There's 25.8 of those li'l f'kers in a single inch, right?! ;)

Ask Pinkbike: A Slippery Wheel, A Used Bike that's Too Good to Be True and the Elusive Alloy DH 29er
Absolutely the way to buy high-end used sleds... Local from the guys you see upgrading often. I have bike(s) way beyond my budget. It's a blast learning, piecing parts together. My LBS helped me the first time (confirming compatibility, etc.), Buying the missing bits from them. The compromise is owning tech from 2012... But riding still feels like 1999 everytime.
