Teva Freeride MTB Athletes Cam McCaul and Kurt Sorge travel to Virgin, UT to ride a line Cam McCaul had spotted a few years prior. This short edit celebrates freeride mountain biking and gets back to the roots of why they live to bike.
So rare to see Freeride videos of people in natural environmental now a-days. It's all in controlled environments with wooden jumps, sometimes we forget where the roots of the sport came from, and that's dirt and making your own lines through the mountains.
so us riders in Ontario who make due with what we have (meaning no mountains) aren't actually mountain biking?? f*ck that we love to bike as much as everyone else
Well I can understand that fast cuts in edits convey speed , but it didn't match the music and the shots (which were gorgeous) in this one. I wanted to see more of that sweet mother nature
Coming from the Santa Cruz/aptos area and seeing cam on nitro circus and pinkbike is such a huge inspiration for me. It makes me proud that he's such a huge image in the sport and makes me love riding and the sport
But look the second comment of that article www.pinkbike.com/news/Beyond-The-Jump-Paul-B-QampA.html ... that's why I confused
i was watching it from my couch and at 1:15 i really thought he wasn't going to make it.
