Trevor Thew sat waiting to drop. His fingers, blue and claw-like, are nearly welded to his bars; we're not really used to snow on southern Vancouver Island. I was a little nervous myself - you need to be careful as snow can get into a lens or camera body. Trevor had been living on the Sunshine Coast since September, taking classes at
mountain bike school and riding trails made famous by the
Coastal Crew. But he hadn't forgotten the sinuous berms of Mount Tzouhalem. Minutes away from his house in Duncan it's a place he's ridden countless times and it shows. Call it All Mountain, call it Enduro, or just call it mountain biking, you can't beat the thrill of smashing trails on a mid-travel bike... especially with a little Sabbath.

By the way, I love the way he just casually gaps that berm... At least the trail give riders some decisions on the way down. Gap it or berm it?
.... at least in Ontario/Quebec... can't speak for the rest of the nation. Just saying that not much snow isn't necessarily a good thing, lol
But hey, without weirdos this world would be beige, someone has to take one for the team, so all the best to mr Sticky palms and hot fingers - I wish I was your GF. Nice shreddin'
