Take energy off road with two dedicated saddles designed specifically for e-MTB

To open up the outdoors and amplify electric-assisted adventures, fizik introduces the latest addition to its off-road saddle collection: the Terra Aidon X1 and X3 e-MTB saddles.

The rise of electric-assisted cycling continues to expand opportunities for two-wheeled exploration to new riders, locations and terrain. As e-Bikes become lighter and able to take on longer, harder rides, finding components best suited to this supercharged style of cycling is essential. To aid in this pedalling revolution, fizik is taking the energy off road with its new Terra Aidon X1 and X3 e-MTB saddles.

Of course, with the ability to push boundaries into new territories comes a unique set of challenges for riders looking to maximize their e-MTB experience. For starters, e-bike riders spend more time seated than traditional off-road adventurers, taking the brunt of the bumps and ruts of the trail, while staying in command from the seated position requires a steady, reliable pedalling platform.

To handle these challenges, fizik has engineered the new Terra Aidon saddle with e-Riders’ needs in mind. For improved comfort over long, rough rides, their proprietary Type-2 foam offers progressive padding that’s thicker around the sit bones to support a more upright riding posture. For added pressure relief, a deep center cut-out minimizes discomfort and features a new, innovative built-in mudguard to block unwanted trail spray on wet rides.



The Terra Aidon features a shorter length for a confident rider position and full range of movement throughout the bike’s suspension allowance. A gradual profile allows for easy transitions and better bike control while the waved tail supports riders through the initial kick of the electric assistance as well as when spinning quickly up steep, seated climbs.

The new Terra Aidon is available in either of fizik’s X1 lightweight carbon or X3 ultra strong Kium alloy rail systems, both in their proprietary Mobius closed-loop configuration for unrivalled durability and support. They are also both available in two widths:145mm and 160mm.
