@braydonbr: thanks for the response! Yea I've been learning/working on 3's for the past year and change, ride right foot foward and spin left. Also end up nose high often. I think i've gotten them dipped now but I've thought that before only to have the front tire start slipping upward again. Gonna have to give this switch footed thing a try

Tektro drop bar brake levers
$20 CADI took the avid calipers from this set for my commuter bike. The levers and cables/housing/barrel adjusters are now just sitting unused in a box, and I'm very unlikely to use them.

Hats off and tons of respect to Vernon. I grew up in Marin, loving mountain biking on Mt Tam as my main hobby, and its got to be one of the worst places to try to improve trail access for mountain bikers. My solution was to move to Canada.
