Snow Summit Bike Park Opening May 26, 2017
@SeanC1: factor in the travel cost and I would say it's cheaper but you are correct, it's smaller. If I lived 2 hrs from Mammoth I would have a much different opinion of Summit.

Snow Summit Bike Park Opening May 26, 2017
If it wasn't for Summit coming back we would have nothing to look forward to you could pull off as a day trip. Mammoth is a haul. From the SD or LA area you can leave at 5:30, stop for breakfast, get to the lift when it opens, 6-7 runs, leave at 1:30 and beat traffic home. Remember this is on a weekday. Could the park be better or worse? Yup. I spend the rest of the year pedaling and just want a couple days off. Enjoy it for what it is. Ride on.

They state they could use custom bearings not they do use custom sizes. If you buy these good looking hubs somewhere you could expect to get bearings from the same place. Let's move on.

50to01 TV: Ratboy Rides Burgtec - Video
I'm only 50. Still in SD. Bought the wife a bike but she won't ride. Still looking for this flat loop you speak of. Dickies hide my padded underwear. Voted for the dropper (thanks reverb). Grey haired. But let me know where you live so when I retire I can keep your local bike shop open when I buy an overpriced Nomad and spandex from them. Then I will share my cold beer with you in the parking lot. Cheers.
