After Sony VAIO Joy Ride Fest 2013 in Poland

In every season we have possibility to participate in the event, which is the biggest bike memory of the year. No doubt- this year is for Sony VAIO Joy Ride Fest 2013- the biggest multidisciplinary festival in center of Europe. For one weekend small Polish ski resort Kluszkowce which is situated close to big Tatra's hills changes for mountain bike capital.


Sony VAIO Joy Ride Fest 2013 was a great opportunity to feel the spirit of different kind of mountainbiking. This multidisciplinary event was a mix of XC, enduro, slopestyle, trial, dirt and DH riding.

One of the hottest part of Sony VAIO Joy Ride Fest was Diamondback Downhill. On start list you could find many great riders from Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Ukraine and United Kingdom- 44Racing Rockstar Diamondback team. Racing on muddy and slippery track was really hard. But on the other hand- is there any better felling than drift on wet berm?


Another great part of Festival was NS Bikes Slopestyle with FMB brozne category. It's all because of fact that on mount Wdżar you can find the biggest and best slopestyle park in Poland. This is the effect of many weekends of hard work with Dirt It More crew. What's more- you'll be lucky boy when you find quite good weather on the top of mount, than you will see huge hills and sweet landscape of Czorsztyn lake. The riders list of NS Bikes Slopestyle was impressive: Sam Pilgrim, Daryl Brown, Bartek Obukowicz, Adrian Tell, Gerard Plata, Villam Krizan and many young guns from Poland. It was sick show with crazy tricks and combos. Just take a look for Jakub's first cordova flip.


Besides of extreme and anti-gravity ride you had a chance for some XC, enduro, marathon and even kids bike competition. All of this was about fun, not racing at all. Many smiling faces confirmed fun.


On Friday's evening bunch of riders take a part in Dartmoor Fly Bag jam. Adrian Tell won it for sure with huge cashroll and cashroll no hand. But creativity of many riders was incredible. After all of riding events evening hours were time for some concert and party. One of the main artist of this year's edition was Gorillaz Sound System. His DJ set just blow helmets from our heads. It was insane.


During Sony VAIO Joy Ride Fest you had chance for find very interesting stuff. It's because of huge bike fair, where 25 brands show their collection of clothes, bikes and parts. Brand new downhill bike from NS Bikes, Sweet machines from Diamondback, Canyon, Lapierre, Kellys, Dartmoor and many others. It was a haven for bike geeks.
