Point: Suspension Lockout Levers Have Made Bikes Worse
@chadgmail: I'm the happy owner of an Tantrum Meltdown. It's the first bike I have ridden that don't makes me wish for a remote lockout lever. Minimal bob that actually seem to works opposite to most other linkages that more or less squats down on steep climbs. And missing link still stays fully active. It also doesn't need an modern expensive big aircan shock with advanced pro-pedal or other kinds of low speed compression adjustments. I really hope Tantrum gets more coverage really soon. This linkage is to good to not make it because of unusual visual looks and preconceptions...

The New Five Ten x Adidas Shoes Explained - Eurobike 2018
@fecalmaster: I dont want to take trad laceing away from you, but look around and you will see there's plenty of successful alternatives. Just not any as wide as 5.10 last..

The New Five Ten x Adidas Shoes Explained - Eurobike 2018
And the only thing I'm not happy with on my Hellcat Pro's are the traditional lacing!!! On other then short rides I have to stop and adjust. Specialized, Shimano, Lake, Scott and others are doing sturdy good grip soles with twin boa cleat-shoes that easily can be tightened evenly and can be fine adjusted to perfection will climb a mountain. (Unfortunately non of them are wide enough all the way up front on the inside of the toebox) So please 5.10 rationalize your fancy lineup a bit and catch up on the high end. What about dropping the more narrow Kestrel with its bad reputation for single boa not working very well on more then a specific foot shape!? Make a dual boa version of the Hellcat Pro in 2diffetent widths!!!

Shimano AM7 Shoes - Review
@gticket: I stand with that same question to. How do they fit compared to the ME7? Are they as wide as 5.10 vXi? More or less turned in/pointy toebox?
