The Olympics Prove That MTB Is Safer Than Golf (sort of)
Well I’m pretty sure I wouldn’t be possibly getting a shoulder replacement in my thirties from golfing unless some asshole hit me with a golf cart

Opinion: Why You Shouldn't Care What the Pros Ride
Then why is pinkbike always writing articles about this weeks World Cups “winning bike” if not to convince me that I can only become a World Cup champion if I ride the same setup as the G.O.A.T.?

Specialized Launches $999 Carbon Hotwalk for Toddlers
This just seems to be the problem with mountain bike manufactures these days. Bikes are too expensive. Most entry level carbon bikes start at $4000+ and go up to $12000. Bikes are so expensive that shops and companies have to offer financing so people can actually buy them. That's insane, you have to finance a bike! I'll probably get some comments that you have the option to buy a cheaper bike which is true but then I consider the cost of bikes in the past. Back in the early 2000 my first full suspension bike was a giant NRS 1 which at that time was a very high end bike. I paid $2200. It had a SID world cup fork and rear shock , all XT, hydraulic disc brakes (when disc brakes were not standard), tubeless rims (another newer technology at the time). Yeah it was aluminum not carbon, it was light for its time. That same level (as in a premium top level full suspension mountain bike) bike in the market these days would probably go for 7 to 8 grand. I also looked the 2004 carbon Fuel 100, now of the first carbon bikes, and at the time was what team trek was racing and was the envy of 16 kid who raced, retailed at $4500. Bikes are too expensive. Damn, I'm getting old and doing the "back in my day" rants now. Time for a carbon fiber specialized walker?

Pinkbike Poll: If Every Ride Was Solo, Would You Still Mountain Bike?
People have friends? I have an imaginary one does that count? Still he is faster than me so that kind of sucks.

Destination Showcase: Duluth & Lebanon Hills, Minnesota
Going to be there in a week. Anybody know where I can rent a decent bike that will not cost me an arm and a leg?
