Ridden and Rated - Six Takes on the Multi-Tool
@dsut4392: I remember thinking my Alien was way too expensive when I bought it way back when. At this point I bet it's cost me pennies per use. Really like having a good sturdy knife blade on the multi tool. Don't need one often but when you do it's hard to find a substitute trailside.

A Walmart Bike vs Whistler Bike Park
@scott-townes: Look I'm not offering Walmart any hugs bud. I just think the return part of the stunt wasn't necessary and I like to keep the personal standards for how I operate a little higher. You do you though bud. Plenty of room for shifty individuals as well I guess.

A Walmart Bike vs Whistler Bike Park
@scott-townes: Just because you can doesn't mean you should. Buying the bike and riding it until it fails would've been rad. Maybe dangerous, but worthy of our respect. Riding and donating to a kid or dropping it at the re-use store afterwards would work too. This just ended with a bit of poor form.

Sam Pilgrim on Haibike?
@Gregorysmithj1: my only comment is about what we know or don't know about the impact of the machines at this point. I'll never be accused of asking a badass to be more sensitive. And Sam is definitely a bad ass regardless of the bike.

Sam Pilgrim on Haibike?
@sampilgrim: respectfully, even if the bike itself does no more damage than a pedal bike your earlier comment about doing 3 times as many laps may be a big problem for trail sustainability. As is the problem of riders who may not have the legs to make a climb to sensitive sub-alpine or alpine trails now having access too. Not sure we can say these bikes do "no more damage" just yet. Cheers.
