Pivot's New Trail 429 - First Ride
@Svinyard: I assume it's because people like me are on their 3rd Pivot frame (warrantied 2x) in three years, and have friends like mine that have both warrantied their 1 year old Pivot frames. Looks like a good bike for regular daily trail riding. Could be bad luck or riding harder than the frames intended purpose, but I won't be buying another Pivot for a while.

Is This The Best Drone Control You've Ever Seen? - Video
I watched it and it looks more like a drone automatically following the first rider in the group. Sometimes the camera is pointed forwards and get the rider who the drone is following and sometimes it's pointed backwards, getting the rider behind the person the drone is following.

Cool adventure, maybe just go a little lighter on the "you just can't comprehend unless you've been there" stuff in the video.

First Look: Jamis' New 3VO Suspension - Sea Otter 2018
That's the truth. I went through 4 rear triangles in three months on a carbon Jamis before I said enough is enough and made the retailer give me store credit to replace the frame.

What the Heck is a Down-Country Bike? - Opinion
I basically did this to my Pivot 429sl over the course of a couple years and in the end it think it leaned more towards the worst of both bikes than the better. It wasn't a cross country bike anymore, but it was still sketchy pointed down and too fragile to take the abuse. I'm sure these new designs are much better than my cobbled together bike, but if your not racing I just don't see the point in avoiding a 120mm trail bike. On the other hand, I do know lots of cross country guys who will never go over 100mm because the last thing in the world they would want is for their buddies to say they have too much bike.
