Finals Photo Epic: Kickstart My Heart - Red Bull Rampage 2018
Personally I liked Lacondeguy's run, but how do you post a photo epic without photos of the winning run? There were a lot of pictures, did I miss one?

First Look: Industry Nine's A35 Stem
@krashDH85: Check out . I'm a luthier, those are basses I build and a large part of them is done on my very own CNC, with drawings I did in CAD on my very own computers. Not just the carved top and back, but the bridge, tailpiece and some of the metal parts. So yeah, I know a little about endmills and maybe not as clueless as you would like to think.

First Look: Industry Nine's A35 Stem
"...I asked where the inspiration came from and, according to Vice President Jacob McGahey, it's a project they've been wanting to do for some time. He said, "We wanted to produce something that provided class-leading performance, (chuckle chuckle..) ok, off the record? We wanted to produce something that cost $20 to make and we could sell for $125. And that's not counting the dopes who would pay another $15 for Keith in shipping to put a different color front plate on. Takes him 2 minutes to do that, so you do the math. The markup on these things is ridiculous and we wanted a piece of that action."

Thanks for making me like my local (washed out old hiking) trails even less.

Burning Question: Is Super Boost 157 Spacing Going to Become the New Standard?
Surprise Surprise, no one at a major bike or component company wants to say "what a bunch of crap" then look like a fool down the road when 157 becomes the main standard regardless of whether it's beneficial or not. I'd love to hear what these guys really think off the record.

American Tariffs on Chinese-Made Goods Threaten to Increase Prices for the US Bike Industry
Same people that would cry that every American should earn a "living wage" will decry the tariffs and increase in prices for their toys. In some cases it's ignorance, in other cases hypocrisy and some even blatant political opportunism. Just watch.

Destination Showcase: Killington, Vermont
I've been to both Killington to ride the chairs, and Stowe to pedal up the local trails in the past month. I don't know how many tickets it takes to turn a profit, but Killington was practically empty. Didn't have to wait more than one gondola all day long on a Saturday. There just isn't much of a tourist scene in Killington over the summer. Stowe on the other hand, no lift assisted riding, but the tourist scene is crazy. Tons of mt. bikers, tons of hikers, tons of people just chilling and doing all sorts of touristy things. Seems like they could make a good run at lift assist if they wanted.

Destination Showcase: Killington, Vermont
I was there a month or so ago, no need to worry. Zero lift lines all day long on a Saturday.

Video: Specialized's Epic EVO Release Video Is Cheeseball & Great
A few months ago we got “no more proprietary BS” from the company who invented proprietary BS, now we get “prepare to have your minds blown by our incredible ingenuity” from a company that waits around for the little guy to spearhead change then copies them.
