E-bike is a format that everywhere else has sided the regular enduro race. The gryphon in Squamish would be a perfect venue to start the category.
One way or the other is it going to happen no matter what hater think.
Always remember that there was a full movement against shuttling and now DH race is among the most entertaining competition to follow.
Most of the technology progression happens there.
Looking forward to partecipate to a format different by the only e-bike race available in bc ( the megavolt )
And yes, some series have limited ebike categories, but it's dependent on whether ebikes are allowed on those particular trail systems. I think you have to accept that while you may think ebikes are great, they aren't necessarily going to take over mountain biking as a sport - especially in the competitive scene.
There has never been a movement against shuttling a DH bike.
