Mondraker Dune - Review
This. Never understood why Mondraker is so expensive - that is in relation to the components of the bikes. How come? Especially if you consider that with 3K less you get, say, a Pivot Mach Carbon, XT/XTR, full Kashima (including X2). I am not against 10K either but this is a kind of 'a bit too much' maybe for what you get. Nah.

Best of Rampage: POV Runs - Red Bull Rampage 2017
It's ridiculous to use as an excuse that Bizet's line was more of a "slopestyle" run - yeah, and the rest weren't (!). There's so much adrenaline and style in his run. He got really robbed. I am not saying that he could win the Rampage (why not?) but a 12th position? This is insulting. All the riders are top with huge balls, with no any exception. Personally, I am supporting Kyle but I do not think that his run was so that good in relation to Bizet's. Let's be honest. Also, what made Rampage quite bad this year was the shooting. You were missing almost the half runs of all the riders. You expect, in 2017, a much better coverage with all this technology around. It's good that the riders are not risking as much as they did in the past (if you can say that) - I don't see the point of doing so for such a lame prize, that is if you put on scale your life vs money. Congrats to all the riders. They're AWESOME!

One Question: Does Mountain Biking Need the UCI?
@YouHadMeAtDrugs: Who mentioned anything about doping and "corporate bullshit"? What I said is "who says that..." - TDF is the world's greatest sporting event and as far as I am concerned this is ROAD cycling. This is what I said - in the sense that it is indeed popular and obviously "someone" is giving a "rats ass". I do not follow road racing either but at the same time I am not getting pissed off. Also, I am not judging the doping side and all just stressing out a fact. Should I not?

Cane Creek Helm Fork - Review
Interesting. When it comes to FOX or RS suspension reviews the words that are being used at the "Pinkbike take" are pretty straight fwd. On the other hand, when it comes to the "other" brands it's "maybe" etc - but they're not sure if this is better or not. And of course it depends what WE are looking for. OK.

Staran FSM-140 – Review
The way I see it: every time a "new" bike enters the market with such great components that rides equally well with the "old" trusted well marketed brands, reviewers must find something that won't disturb the balance. Hence the LBS thing or the old, but boring, argument "it's not that easy to trust a direct company and all, in terms of frame quality, build, warranty and so on". But hey, the choices are vast nowadays and it goes strictly down to personal taste if you like a bike or not - because, to be honest, even a "Bossnut", or type of, with a couple of upgrades can do the job equally as well (unless if you compete at a pro level) and it can look straight in the eyes a bike that costs double the price. Just sayin'...
