Video: A Father Son Adventure in the Wasatch Range

Jan 9, 2019 at 17:20
by Steven Lloyd

The feeling of freedom is almost tangible for most kids as they get out of school for summer. Video games and amusement parks were not in the cards for this 11 year old. Weston lloyd and his dad Steve planned a bike packing trip to explore their backyard in the Wasatch mountains and immerse them selves in some serious father and son time. Sharing his knowledge of the mountains he loves, Steve opens up doors for Weston to explore new places and grow into a strong young man. This Initiation might be heavy for most kids this age, but Westons determination to cary his own weight and to become his own man is inspiring. This mission of exploration allowed them to see trails in upper Big Cottonwood Canyon and Little Cottonwood Canyon that typically don't see a lot of biker traffic. Not for the faint of heart, but well worth the effort.
