Cannondale CZeroSL carbon wheels free hub fail
I have a Cannondale Scalpel which is pretty good except for the crummy free hub. It came with the Carbon CZero SL wheels with Cannondale own brand hub. I have had the free hub bearings replaced twice now in less than 500 miles and looks like the last set are about to fail. Has anyone else had any problems because Cannondale say they have not had any reports.
The bike is on its first cassette - 46 tooth Shimano XT which puts a pretty high load on the free hub bearings which are miniscule sealed units - you would bigger bearings in an alarm clock.
Would like to hear other peoples experience.
I'm a big fan of Cannondale and especially Lefty forks - if you don't need more than 100mm there is nothing to compare - in my experience!
