Kona Process 167 Frame - Medium

$1000 CAD
Selling my Process 167 frame, size medium. It was one of the last 26” wheel bikes offered though it does fit 27.5” wheels as well (had a Kona rep confirm that). I really liked this bike, it was light, super capable and very fun. I didn’t ride it as much as I probably should’ve before deciding to try out another frame, working at a bike shop makes you want to try the next new thing. I got the complete bike in spring 2020 as new old stock from Kona and rode it a handful of times for one summer before swapping frames. At the end of that summer I had the shock serviced by Live to Play sports and it hasn’t been ridden since. There are a few small scratches on the frame but nothing too bad/out of the ordinary for an MTB. The only real defect is where the rear brake adapter I was using contacted the non-drive side seat stay under full compression. Luckily Kona warrantied that and I have brand new seat stays for both sides! And yes the seat stays are carbon, I have no idea why the 167 was the only first gen process with carbon stays but there you go. Maybe just stick with the stock 200mm rotors instead of 180mm. I also drilled and tapped a bolt into the rear thru axle to stop it from backing off, can provide a new axle if needed. I’m listing the frame with its headset, crown race, GXP bottom bracket, new and old seat stays, and the Rockshox Reverb dropper post the bike originally came with. The reverb has never been installed on any bike. The seat/post in the pictures are not included.

Bike Check: Peter Kaiser's Custom Trek Ticket - Audi Nines 2020
I've got one on mine too, though I took the overture leather and foam and put it onto a bmx pivotal body. Gives it a really clean look. But you're not wrong, I think most of my friends have them on their bikes too.

Kona Process 165

$3000 CAD
Hey, I'm selling my 2018 Kona Process 165. It's a very playful bike and sort of rides like a big slope-style bike, while still being relatively easy to pedal. It's definitely more fun when its pointed down the hill due to its large travel size. I've raised the fork up to 180mm so the BB sits a bit higher and the head angle is also slacker than stock. I have the 170mm air shaft still if you wanted to lower it. The fork was serviced in mid August and has only had a handful of rides since. Also I know the rear travel says 160mm, but there isn't a 165mm option. FRAME MATERIAL: Kona 6061 Aluminum Butted 165mm Travel REAR SHOCK: RockShox Super Deluxe Coil R Trunnion FORK: RockShox Lyrik RC Solo Air 180mm CRANKS: SRAM Descendant 6K CHAINRING: 34t X-Sync Eagle B/B: SRAM GXP PF92 PEDALS: Chromag Scarabs CHAIN: SRAM GX-Eagle CASSETTE: SRAM GX-Eagle 10-50t R/D: SRAM GX-Eagle SHIFTERS: SRAM GX-Eagle BRAKES: SRAM Code R (Only had a handful of rides on them before upgrading) BRAKE ROTORS: SRAM Centerline 200mm (Only had a handful of rides on them before upgrading) HEADSET: FSA No.57SC HANDLEBAR: Kona XC/BC 35 (Used once) STEM: Kona XC/BC 35 (Used once) SEATPOST: KS Lev Integra w/Southpaw Lever 31.6mm SEAT CLAMP: Kona Clamp GRIPS: DMR Deathgrips SADDLE: WTB Volt Comp (Used once) FRONT HUB: Formula 110x15mm REAR HUB: Formula 148x12mm SPOKES: Stainless Black 14g RIMS: WTB Asylum i29 TCS FRONT TIRE: Maxxis Minion DHF TR 3C EVO 27.5x2.5" (New with 1-2 rides on it) REAR TIRE: Maxxis Minion DHF TR 3C EVO Maxx Terra 27.5x2.3" (Holds air. I have a new one that just isn't put on yet, and I'll throw it in for free.) The bike is set up tubeless, and has been checked over by the mechanics at the shop I work at. The rear tire casing is very warped. It doesn't hit the frame or cause any real issues, but you can feel it wobble around when you're riding. Holds air though so you could ride it right out the door and on to a trail. I have a new tire that I just haven't put on yet. I'll throw it in free of charge. There are some scratches on the derailleur and frame and some scuffs here and there. Nothing out of the norm for a mountain bike. I also have a set of Spank 350 wheels for this bike that I could add in for around $450. The stock WTB wheels were only ridden for a couple weeks before I stepped up to the Spank ones. The brakes were also only used for a bit before I switched to my hopes. Like I said, this bike is more of a downhill machine but I have gotten it up a fair amount of hills in the past couple seasons.
