After a busy season spent on the four corners of the globe,
SUNN team riders
Thomas Lapeyrie and
Kilian Bron find themselves back home. In the heights of Mount Veyrier near the Annecy Lake, follow them at their training ground between mountain ridges and forests. A local project with friends from the area!
"For years now, we were used to coming back to Veyrier at the end of the season. The idea was to organize rides with friends, but also open to other people. Fall is the perfect season to freshen up some of our bike tracks and continue extending them. It's also the ideal occasion to create projects with local motivated photographers and cameramen." -
Kilian Bron"We regularly meet up at night to talk about videos and to try and find some cool ideas. And since he has a bunch of them in his head, it's going to be a while before we run out of projects! Slowly but surely when we organized the next shoots, other colleagues are added. Common friends like Clément Brisbois (
BCProduction, photographer near Aix les Bains),
Romain Laurent, or like Lionel Richard, drone pilot from the local drone club. Everyone has their role for the shoot, but they are all more than willing to help out manually during our shape days." -
Louis Paralitici (
Lapse Production and Thomas Lapeyrie's roommate).
It's cool to meet up with old friends and enjoy riding in our area before winter. Veyrier is a great place for it too, with views that you never get bored of as well as the numerous biking tracks available for all levels. A multitude of other spots exist around Annecy but we will get back to those in future videos. In the meanwhile enjoy some of the first images from the garden tracks!
"I've been in Annecy for one year and as soon as I arrived Kilian and I went to the Veyrier to find new tracks. We started to build a track by going over the traces of motivated friends and the project quickly came to a finish. The Veyrier has also become one of my favourite spots to train at during competition season!" -
Thomas LapeyrieDuring the fall, we came back to this fabulous place to shoot a new video and to check out the evolution of the tracks since last year. New motivated riders that came from the sport section of IUT took it upon themselves to tend to the tracks, and nothing warms my heart more!
The view on the Annecy heights is magnificent and the diversity of the tracks is really impressive. From the clear and rocky ridges you can easily get to a more forest type terrain that is radically different.
