The North Shore Mountain Bike Association is proud to present the 2012 Annual NSMBA Bike and Gear Swap on Saturday, April 14th, 2012 at Jaycee House, located at 1251 Lilloett Road in North Vancouver. This is a great opportunity to clear out your closet, garage, or basement and also pick up some great deals on new and lightly used bikes and gear. You will find Mountain, Road and BMX bikes and gear at the Swap.

Drop offs will be handled April 11th, 12th and 13th between 6:30pm and 10pm at Jaycee House. Cost to sell is $2 per item plus 15% of the proceeds from the sale, up to $120, with discounts available to high volume sellers.

Cash and unsold gear may be collected as of 5:30 on April 14th.

Admission is $2, and the swap runs from 10:30AM until 5PM.

All money raised will go directly to the NSMBA, to be used for the maintenance of local North Shore trails. As always, volunteers are much appreciated - there are benefits. For more information about the sale or how to get involved; contact Rachid@NSMBA.ca or visit www.NSMBA.ca

If only there was a place in Greater Vancouver where people who list their bikes on PinkBike can get together and meet sellers (many of who don't have pinkbike accounts) in a non-awkward location, in daylight, and try out a whole bunch of well priced, good quality used and new gear. Oh wait, there is, the bike swap!

If you want one locally...make it happen! post it up on pink a few months ahead of time and get some friends involved. Events dont organize themselves, anymore than trails dig themselves.

there's nothing cool about Ontario! (it's on their license plates)

we may not have mountains...but we have a lot of single track stuff. and our license plates say "Yours to discover" which I don't know how that translates into "not cool" It means there's a lot to explore in Ontario.....go to Algonquin park or Ganaraska forest...there's hundreds of singletrack AM/XC trails and stuff....At least we got more then what QC has to offer.
