PRESS RELEASE: Sense Bikes & Swift Carbon
As a result of the partnership between Sense bikes (Brazil) and Swift Carbon (South Africa), borns the first trail bike made in Brazil. The Trail/Enduro Segment still is unexplored by the Brazilian industry but Sense decided to bet strong and launches the Exalt model.
The Exalt has two versions. The Exalt and the Exalt Gold Edition, both with full carbon frames.
All efforts were focused on engineering, geometry development and differentiated elements to deliver a versatile, easy trail ride, agile in descents and can also be used for Enduro, since Exalt enables upgrades for a fork up to 160mm.
The Exalt, has a frame with 135mm rear wheel travel with a horst link design and 140mm fork up front, with a simultaneous lock on the handlebars. The bike comes equipped with the efficient Sram GX Eagle group, DT Swiss M1700 wheels, Schwalbe Nobby Nic tires, SENTEC dropper seatpost and Ritchey WCS Trail cockpit. All the cables run internally and the bike has a very clean look
Exalt Gold Edition has a 12V Sram XX1 Eagle group, 140mm FOX 34 Factory kashima front suspension and a Fox Float Evol Kashima rear suspension, DT SWISS X1200 carbon wheels with Schwalbe Nobby Nic tires, Fox dropper seatpost and Ritchey WCS Trail cockpit. Some gold magic all the way around
In both models, we have the same quality of carbon construction with no difference between the entry-level model and the high end.
Exalt is a very confidence-inspiring Trail bike, with a 67-degree head angle, a very short chainstay of 438mm in length and combined with boost axles. The Exalt debuts first in the mountains of Minas Gerais, one of the most privileged Brazilian states for mountain bike practice and proved to be a great fun, despite its short travel, it is a very capable bike, both up and down.Riding a gnarly rocky descent
Despite the fact that this is the first bet of a Brazilian company in this sector, I believe that this starting point was very well done, and Sense puts its name definitely in that market.
